I hope someone can answer this for me...I had a surgical abortion on april 5 th of this year, so pretty much two weeks and 3 days ago...and tonight my boyfriend and I just had sex. At first he went in without a condom for about 5-8 minutes but then put one on to prevent from ejaculating inside me. I am currently on the pill and started taking it the day of the abortion. My question is, what is the possibility that pre-cum can get me pregnant?? I am now more paranoid than ever since at the time I got pregnant I was on Ortho tricyclen low and took it religiously at the same time everyday and never missed a pill.

I'm not being funny, but you appear to be a little disrespectful of your own body's capabilities. You have recently aborted an unwanted pregnancy, and only weeks later put yourself as risk again by having unprotected sex. As you have found out, the pill is NOT 100% reliable, so you cannot use this as your only form of protection. Neither can you add a condom half way through sexual intercourse and expect everything to be OK.
Sorry I couldn't put your mind at ease, but as someone who is currently fighting for the life of my unborn child I think that you need to think long and hard about your family planning. It is not something that should be abused.

I understand that I was being stupid at the time for not making my boyfriend wear a condom from the beginning, so yes that is my fault. I don't understand though how what I do with my body is up for judgement?! Anyway, I'm not trying to be rude, I just get tired of people trying to impose their views on me when in the end I am going to be the one dealing with the aftermath of my decisions.

How long ago was the sex? If it was 5 days or less you could take the morning after pill.

did you like having the abortion? I'm not trying to talk sh*t cause i've had one also and i am pro choice however I don't belive that being prochoice means you can use abortion as a birth control. Precum can get you pregnant pulling out can get you pregnant even on a quicky, so i found out. It is your body and you do have a choice and it is your buisness what you do with it, however did you know that having abortions can scar your uterus making it harder to get pregnant when your actually ready to. Just think of the consiquences to your body if you continue to not use adequate protection and get pregnant again. Good Luck

I am not using abortion as birth control, I am currently on the pill and that was the only time sex without a condom happened. I know that having sex without a condom is dumb but i screwed up and now I gotta deal with whatever happens. I was just curious about the possibilties of pregnancy! believe me now i don't allow my boyfriend to penetrate without a condom on, so please stop with all the comments about me not taking care of my body...in the end, it is my body and my uterus!

you have to be on the pill a full 3 months to make sure its in your system for it to take affect.yes i heard 7 days you can have sex but that sounds early to me my doctor told me 3 months and i have had unprotected sex with my husband and no baby.i have 2 kids at the age of 21 and i lost another when i was 15 yrs old i was beat thats why i lost it,my baby dident ask to be born or to die so please protect your self these babies dont ask to be born .i wish the best for you good luck :'(

well i listend to my doctor .it makes since to me to wait longer than kill your own baby for no reason just because you coudent wait to have sex.i never aborted my babies because i was smart and wait to have sex.and if i did ever wind up pregno again i would stand up and be an adult even if i dident want kids.to solve having kids use,condoms,pills,foam,and your legs shut if theres no cap!common sense..

When I found out I was pregnant I stopped using it -- I was off for a week until I had the abortion -- I started again on the day of the procedure and I didn't have sex for 2 weeks. Used a condom everytime after that except for that one time...which won't ever happen again.
Eventhough I just got my period I will be taking a pregnancy test on monday just to ease my mind.

i have done very good for my self i was left when i was 14 and did what i had to do to live yea i made mistakes but i never killed my own kid because i was to young or just dident want to take care of them !what do you mean when you turned 25 that was your first abortion?thats great! in my life i grew up and and have alot now.pretty good for someone that dident have no one at 14. so yea you keep have fun aborting! :x
