please could someone explain how exercise affects our musculoskeletal system?

Well it all depends on what exercise are you doing. Every exercise affects particular group of muscles in the body. And as it affects muscles it affects bones also, because it causes bones to be much stronger by increasing bone density. What kind of exercise are you doing? You know, it is not advised to always do the same exercises because they just affect one part of the muscles in the body, and other muscles in the body get neglected. That is why it is important to have different routines every day or every other day, depending on how much do you exercise weekly. Exercises are also good for joints because they increase the flexibility of them as well.
