Are anti-arrhythmics useful if taken at the onset of a an afib attack?
I suffer from lone paroxysmal atrial fibrillation about once a month,with attacks lasting 3 or 4 days,and am on ASA (81mg) and a beta blocker. I am afraid to take anti-arrhythmics on a regular basis,as I've read they have very serious side effects in some people when taken continuously.
