I'm 16, I masturbate frequently, and have also recently been getting a pain in my left testicle. I use to run a lot and never got this pain. I have recently started taking vitamins ( don't know why that would make a difference ) I ran last night and when I got home my left testicle made it hard to walk. Then the next morning It still hurt but subsided mid day. I just ran again and my left testicle is hurting again. I'm scared and will take any steps neccesary.

I have the same problem but im 15, I have been reading all of the entries and noticed, like me, all of the problems seem to occure in the left testicle, but I am too nervous to talk to anyone about it

what if you hit your balls on a plastic thing and the next day the right ball was slightly bigger than the other and when you walk normally they hurt really bad and turn red i have to walk with my legs spred apart and it has been going on fore days but i have been kicked their tons of times and they have never done this what is this?????????? :-(

my stomic kinda hurts but i am not sure if i have any thing i am really scared and freaked out from reading all of these and my head hurt before anything hurt and then my stomic and thin my balls please tell me if i have any thing

I used to wear normal jockies which were good for regular wear. However, there was a slight amount of freedom of movement for my package which is common to jockeys.

If you have pain in your genitals, I think it's always worth investigating with a doctor. There's three pains you never want to mess around with--chest, stomach, and genital. Anything else is fine, but those three generally indicate something serious and can go south so quickly. Be sure to get checked if you have pain, okay? It is worth your time.
um my stomic and my genitals hurt is that bad??????

I had this problem as well with running, but I quickly figured out that it ONLY occurred when I wore briefs or something else that was tight fitting with my shorts. Apparently the little contact that they made with my testicles was enough to add up after a few hundred moderate impact steps. My advice; wear loose fitting shorts/track pants and if possible, don't wear any underwear.

I recently started running also. (not much, about 2 miles every other day or so). The last time I ran was last night at about 8. Its now about 3:30 pm. I was walking through the store and out of nowhere my left testicle developed a pain. It wasnt horrible but seems to be getting worse. Its been about 45 minutes now. It feels like someone is squeezing it, or like I have gas in it or something. I know thats hard to imagine but thats how it feels. Or like someone kicked me in the nuts, but just the left one. I can even feel it in my stomach slightly. My right ball does seem to be slightly lower than my left one. I do wear boxers when I run, mabye ill go buy some tity whities and see if that helps. I dont have any insurance and im not up for a $2000 bill for a doctor to basically say he doesnt know whats wrong with my ball quite yet. If the problem persists I will go as a last resort. But in the meantime, if you have had this problem also and have figured it out yet, please reply. Also, is anyone else having these exact same symptoms?

This might seem like a stoopid (the forum won't let me submit the right spelling) question but I've never used a jock strap before. Can anyone reccommend how to go about getting one thats "sport tight" as bluedog suggested. Where should I look?

So i ran yesterday around 11am and continued my workout until about 3pm. after i finished this, i had a sharp pain in my right testicle right above the testicle. it hurt to touch my right testicle or to touch my right side of my sack. it is now 630am the next day and i still have the same sharp pain even when im just walking around the house. it seems the only way to ease the pain is to lay down or to just relax and not move. i have read the posts before, but i would really appreciate it if i could get some opinions or some responses to my problem. people were saying i should try and wear breifs. but i wear boxer breifs, so i think thats covered. but im going into the military in a couple weeks and would really like to get this fixed or when the pain does come to know how to stop it. (f.y.i. there is alot of running in the military and that would not be good if this pain would happen everytime i run. i would be on the ground in pain after my 3rd day.) thx

I recently had the same problem, and stumbled upon this site while trying to find an answer. However, I'm 36 and have been training for 20 over years; but I recently added an intense running routine back into schedule for the past 6 weeks.

My left testicle starting hurting as well, and progressively got so bad it would hurt when I walked. Oddly enough, it also felt like gas...and a good fart would relieve the pain from time to time. And to be more specific, that testicle was sore but it seemed like the tubing that connected them. My boyz also hang pretty low, I have big thighs and don't like to wear underwear so I figured they were just being punched around during the run, but that's nothing new. Like you, I didn't want to go to doctor and show my boys to a bunch of strangers, but I wanted to be safe. Long story short, the doc gave me an ultra-sound on my testicles to make sure my the tubing hadn't get twisted (its called Torsion) but didn't find anything. She also prescribed a round of antibiotics in case it was a urinary track infection, to keep it from moving into my kidneys. From there, I took a week off of training; I also started wearing those damn bikini briefs to prevent my boyz from bouncing around all day.

Today is my first day back and I did my first round of running this morning and heading down for my second; I can feel the pain slightly but not quite sure if it's the same. [In fact, I just changed my mind and am going to to the seated cycle instead of running because truth be told, running really is good for you body because it not designed to hand that type of prolonged impact, and its not worth taking the risk]. In short, own your training and don't let your training own you!

I would suggest going to the doctor just to make sure you don't have an infection cause by the jiggling that could spread to something worse.

I had another kind of pain today while I was running on the treadmill. It felt like there was a bee sting right above the scrotom at the same level of the penis. It was sharp and I stopped and inspected myself but there was nothing. I gave it some break and after a while started the treadmill again. After a few minutes I felt the same sting again. So I stopped. I am sure it wasn't just over the skin but from underneath.

Anyone had a similar experience?

I actually went to the ER, and they said everything was fine. That there is a clot in of the blood tubes, they say the pain will go away in a few days but it is re accuring. She said surgery is optional, but recommended.

Hello! I see that there hasn't been a post here in awhile. This happened to me as well and continues to happen. Like many I went to the doctor, got an ultrasound, went to an urologist .etc and everything was fine. In my case, it turns out it stems from lower back pain. Apparently a sore muscle or slight inflammation pitches the nerve where the signals from my left testicle feed in.  Simply doing lower back stretches keeps it at bay. Sometimes after running when it happens just doing 30 sec. of a simple stretch like the cat stretch will make it go away (almost instantly!). All those doctors bills and I could have fixed it by just stretching, but definitely go to the doctor with any pain in your genitals.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
