Hi. I am a 20-year-old who has been drinking every night for a year and a half. I want to stop drinking. I have cut down to 3-6 glasses of wine a night. I drink a half gallon of water EVERY day, with decaf green tea and a gatorade. I take and Amino acid complex (for L-Glutamine, primarily), B-100 complex, Vitamin C, Milk Thistle, Acai Berry and a one a Daily Vitamin. I dont feel shakes or delusions (auditory nor visual) during the day, but I feel anxiety and depression. Other than that, I drink only at night and I exercise. Will I be okay?

Hi,   with respect, you are a young man, and the amount you consume at night, will cause problems later in your life.   It appears that you are conscious of the benifits of Milk Thistle and Acai Berry etc.,  but the part of your brain which reacts to alcohol, will change if  or when  you decide to stop.   Just try a little experiment.  Leave off the booze for 3 nights, and see what happens to your body. Your hands will shake in the morning, and apart from having little sleep at night, your body will sweat to quite a degree.       Drinking alcohol will take off the symptoms, but will just prove that   you are alcohol dependant.   (Yes,  a Alcoholic)

    Just reduce your alcohol level, and possibly just drink at the weekend.
