I have a friend who just collapsed at my house a week ago and he couldn't breath. They are in the hospital and are fine but I was wondering if they had a cardiac shock, a seizure, or something else. Could some one informe me on what happened to them. I can't see them until a few more days so i was just hoping to get some insight befreo then so i'm not on the edge. I would be thankful for a respond but it's ok if you don't because i will see them in a few days.

In some cases a heart attack can cause someone to collapse and have difficulty breathing. An allergic reaction can cause difficulty breathing and cause someone to collapse, some seizures can too. So can low blood sugar, anxiety attacks, etc. There are many possibilities.
Just be supportive. Don't be surprised if you see a lot of monitors and they may be on an IV or oxygen.
