hi

i have had a cold sensetivity for 18 years since i was 21. the symptons are that if i were to be left in cold water i would rapidly go into anapyhalactic shock. when i first had it i would break out in huge red and yellow hives on my skin wherever my skin was exposed to the cold rain and wind. that stopped after a few years but i could still go into shock in cold water. after that i started developing intolerences to horses cats and dogs. by around 28 i started developing food allergies and am now allergic to nuts, shellfish, chocolate, mushrooms, sesame and intolerent to soya, wheat and dairy. recently i have been advised not to eat onions and avoid acidic foods so i am avoiding food like white wine, pork and various acidic fruit.
All of this i have managed to control however, in the last year i have steadily had increasing problems. at easter this year, whilst out running in 20 degrees in sunshine, i experienced shortness of breath, not due to being tired or unfit but i could feel myself having that 'anaphalactic feeling' and about to pass out. i ascertained it might be due to a slightly damp wind on the beach blowing on my sweating body and causing goosebumps on my exposed arms and body, i ran for shelter in a building and recovered. since then, i have experienced this feeling at times when i am fully covered for example, outside in the summer evenings and no amount of clothing has made any difference and i have felt extremely cold and feeling like i am going to pass out and worse if i'm hungry. This was when i wondered if it was tied with circulation.

in september this year, i caught a very strange horrible flu. it took me about 4 weeks to get over. the first night i had it i became extremely cold and could not get warm no matter what i did. i went to bed wearing two tracksuits and thick wool and fleece jumper and hat but continued to feel like i was going to pass out and go into shock so i was afraid to fall asleep. since then i have to wear layers and layers of thermals and jumpers and the average air temperature here at the moment varies from 18 to 23 degrees celcius, a mild autumn. I believe the flu has complicated my problem and i am confused as it happens when my circulation is working well from exercise but happens mostly when i have been inactive. If i jump around at home when i feel cold it helps.
Now i notice in the mornings, i am most likely to have this cold, low circulation feeling in my whole body. presumably due to my body's circulation not being fully up and running that early. This affects me walking my little boy to school 5 minutes up the road and have experienced the passing out feeling many times so carry my adrenaline needle, anti histamines, inhaler and phone with me in case, there are normally others on the road so i try not to worry.
My blood pressure is on the low side, (as is my mother's) when recently taken it was 108 over 63, taken in the afternoon and even after a recent massage my hands and feet remained cold. I am not really unfit but i am not an athelete.
my doctor has given me pills to stop histamine production in my body but i have not taken them yet as i dont like to take pills if i can help it and i dont like the apparent side affects of these pills. i only take histamines in emergencies and i would prefer not to be taking them everyday.
i have also noticed that breathing in cold air and fully clothed can affect me now too.

Basically i am trying to establish what is wrong with me, what was the cause and how do i fix it?
i am really concerned with the oncoming winter. We have just put heating into our house and i have an electric blanket but our house is in a valley and it can go as cold as -6 degrees celcius. I have an 8 year old and 5 year old and it scares me that this may happen when i am alone with them when my husband is away.
Any suggestions or conclusions?
thank you
