Alright everyone,
I was diagnosed a few months ago with anaplastic astrocytoma (grade 3). The tumour is situated on my brain stem and they said couldn't operate and considering where it is i'd be reluctant to for them to operate anyway. The only thing they said they can do at this point is shrink the tumour which i've named Justin Bieber by the way because the tumour is just as annoying as him ha!! So i've just had my sixteenth treatment out of thirty and i'm starting to feel the effects of this now.
I've got a a doctor friend who has spoken to consultants at her workplace and they said the type of tumour i have responds really well to radiotherapy so i remain hopeful and i'm considering alternative treatment after this. Has anyone got any sound advice on this?

Cheers,

Bob
