Has anyone else noticed this? Has it always been this way? When did you first notice this? Most of us are not perfectly bi-lateral. If you feel something is changing structually, see your Dr.
Dear Yahoo7296, First of all, I believe you when you say that your face may be skewed. Second of all, I must say that it is not the end of the world. Yes, there are corrective measures that can be taken to correct the asymmetry of your face, especially at age 25. The most important thing is that you see a physician. Not just any physician, but someone who deals with osteopathy. Your bones are constantly remodeling themselves in response to environmental and inner "stresses". You mentioned a problem with your neck as well. It is very possible that your face is becoming warped due to the uneven use of the muscles in your neck and face. Again, the most important thing is that you see a physician that specifically deals with this sort of issue. Also, I might note that some facial asymmetry is normal. Our bodies are not 100% symmetrical. Here is what you can do personally to slow the process of facial "droop": Be sure that you are not favoring the muscles on one side of your body. Try to sit with your back straight, and with your hips and shoulders aligned. Chew with both sides of your mouth. Try not to clench your teeth. Try to smile evenly, making sure to use the muscles on both sides of your face. But whatever you do, be sure to see a physician that can get to the root of your problem, and properly treat it. If this is something you want to take care of, you will need to see a doctor.
