For a long time (about 20 months) after I was circumcised 21 years ago at age 39, I was unable to ejaculate or experience an orgasm regardless of the sexual context or duration of sexual activity. When I finally started to be able to ejaculate following a long period of sexual activity, as soon as ejaculation began, all pleasurable sensations ended immediately, and any further stimulation of my penis was noxious. A number of additional months after this I finally started to be able to experience, at least about 1/3 of the time, during the beginning of ejaculation, I was able to experience a little bit of the sexual pleasure I had been experiencing before ejaculation began. This situation has improved somewhat over the years, and I can now experience, about 1/2 the time, at least some sexual pleasure throughout most of the period of ejaculation. The rest of the time, however, all sexual pleasure ends as soon as I begin to ejaculate. Moreover, I have never been able to experience anything even remotely like the orgasms I used to routinely experience several times a day from the time I was 11 until I was circumcised.

This problem unquestionably has no relationship to any performance anxiety, any attempts to "will" a state of sexual resolution, or any other psychological problem. It is also clearly not drug or alcohol-related, not associated with a debilitating illness or spinal cord injury, and is not related to a decreased level of testosterone. With respect to the possibility of unintentional injury during the circumcision, it is worth noting that all of the tissues which I still have are just as able to perceive sensations as they were before the circumcision. What my anorgasmia is related to instead is the fact that the sexual sensations produced by the tissue at the tip of my foreskin became much greater and more important the more aroused I became (which I usually promoted when I was masturbating by stretching the skin fairly tightly at the end of each stroke), and it was these sensations which were primarily responsible for finally triggering an orgasm and ejaculation. Unfortunately, while I eventually recovered my ability to ejaculate, I have never recovered my ability to experience an orgasm.

I realize that my experience is quite different from that of most men following circumcision, but my total anorgasmia has unquestionably been a direct, organic consequence of my circumcision. I continue to be very unhappy about my inability any longer to experience an orgasm, and would be very grateful for any information that anyone may be able to provide as to the reason this may have occurred and a possible treatment for it. Since this is unquestionably an organic problem, however, it is clear that treatment could not be facilitated by services provided by a qualified sex counselor or therapist.

I am an MD and a clinical psychologist too. I confirm that removal of the ultra sensitive foreskin and especially the frenulum that normally connects to the glans and tugs at it to cause a powerful orgasmic reflex.hence in a large proportion of men the removal of these structures does lead to difficulties especially in ejaculation and sensation. This is why males who have had this have such a great need for tight stimulation and need strong masturbation to reach the sensory threshold for pleasure unlike normal males(ie normal genitals) who rarely experience the pervasive need for rough stimulation to get the needed sensations and trigger the normal ejaculatory mechanics that stimulate the reflexes and cause normal ejaculation.
You will not find this info easily in any regular medical establishment textbook but any honest and knowledgeable doctor especially with experience in europe or mixed societies where the majority are left in the normal state hence the experience with intact versus mutilated performances. If you connect online with sites that are honest on this matter with fully licensed decent doctors and nurses as contributors to the medical info, you will be able to understand what has happened in your case regardless of what run of the mill doctors tell you, since they are taught erroneously that circumcision is just a minor non matter.
try nocirc site and doctors against circumcision(DOC) and a host of good honest books on the topic

It is odd that people are quick to consent to circumcision without enquiring what the foreskin is and what it does.

The foreskin is heavily innervated and motion and stretching stimulates those nerves and helps one get to orgasm. There should be no surprise that when the foreskin is destroyed orgasm gets immensely more difficult.

Some circumcised men are resorting to foreskin restoration to partially recover their sensation. Just search for "foreskin restoration" on the Internet and you will find lots of information.
