yes I have, my son had surgery on his about 3 yrs ago, same place back of the knee, he is fine now no problems.

It's a relatively simple procedure, you should be fine in no time when you get it taken care of

Ouch. Are you going to get it fixed???

yup, i had one in my wrist, it still comes and goes though, surgery does not mean it never comes back, i had the first one removed but it's grown back many times.

I have one in my left wrist also, when it gets too big the doc just smashes it because it would be difficult to do surgery due to the nerve clusters in the area. I think with the knee ones it is a lot easier to get at them and there are usually not many lingering problems. What does your doc say about removing it?

Genie you are correct about the knee one, it can grow back to. However Trev bounced back real quick, mind you he is only 9 right now, but his recovery time was very short. ANd you know he plays soccer all time, loves football and basketball and it hasn't hindered him. We check behind his knee every so often and there is no new growth.
