The subject of the topic should actually be facial fat but I thought this was more subtle. Anyone know of any natural ways of getting rid of facial fat? it seems I can trim down other parts of my body but I have a hard time bringing out those cheek bones I used to have.
Dang I was hoping you were asking the name of the bones.

Everything I've ever read about "spot reduction" when it comes to fat simply says it can't be done. Your body has natural tendencies to store fat in certain places and the only way to get fat reduction done is to overall reduce your bodyfat. So getting to your ideal weight is about the only step I can recommend if you're not already there.
All that being said, runners do get "hollow cheeks". And if this happens from just bodyfat in total being reduced I can't say, but I do think it's more apt to happen the longer you run. So with that, I know you haven't been running long, so just keep piling up the miles. :)

Hey Mech Eng, go ahead and tell us anyway. Nothing wrong with a little education.
jrjo-spot reduction. That's the word I should have used. The thing I don't understand is that I have lost weight and am at a comfortable weight but there are certain parts of my body that just won't lose the fat.
I suppose I'll just keep at it. Maybe I'll actually have to start watching my diet? Naaaaaaaaa

i saw an infomercial once for this thing that you put in your mouth and it sorta stretches out your mouth and then you have to contract it and make an "o." worst description ever. but it's supposed to like work your cheek muscles or something... sorta like a thighmaster for you face... i watch too much tv, i know. you could check that out, but i must warn you, it's delightfully hillarious to watch.
