I just bought them and love them.
They take a little while to install in the shoes but overall work very well.
I just hate tying and worrying about my shoes becoming untied.
At 12.00$ they really are not that bad (it just takes a week to get them)
I got the non elastic type.

I have the elastic type. I have them in my DST-VII's that I use when I ride the bike. Love having them.
I use lace locks (or cord locks) and they're only about a buck a pair. Put 'em on, knot and cut the laces and I'm good to go. Love not having to worry about tying, untying, or becoming untied!
did you burn the ends ? because that would keep them from fraying?
So for the 5 pair of shoes I rotate...hmm..ouch. :o
What's the diff between elastic and non-elastic? Seems like elastic would be the way to go, no?

Yep, sure do.
Didn't know these existed, but they look like a brilliant idea.
Thanks for the link.

Elastic is more flexible so if you use it for a tri transition you can get your foot in easier.
I went with non elastic because I like them nice and snug

looks like a good idea. i am always stopping to loosen one shoe or the other cuz it seems pressure builds under the lace on my instep depending on the course. i have had bruises on the top of my foot before from too tight laces. then i loosen them and my heel slips
could be the answer for me, but that "installation" process :umno:
good thing i live with an engineer.

I could see Mark now with them Sue.....Goodness.
Handy guy to have around though.

:x why didn't I think of that??? I only used them once, in a duathlon--they are a must for quick transitions when using clips.

These things rock!! I'd use 'em on my wingtips if I could get away with it.
Are they really that good? Is it easy to get your foot in and out of the shoe when you want, but they don't slip off when running? I'm so confused! and yes, i am looking at the web site
I tried Yankz and did not like them. I haven't tried SpeedLaces. I use the cord locks and tie the ends of the laces to the bottom lace.
Never tried them so not sure.
