First off I am not a pro suboxone poster but I have over 20 years of opiate experience and 6 of suboxone. Before any detox make sure to keep plenty of fluids or electrolytes. If all you have is water, mix pink himalayan sea salt into it at one teaspoon per gallon for electrolytes. This puts 94 trace minerals and is similar to blood with the nutrient level. Coconut water is excellent as long as no added sugar. AVOID ALL SUGAR AND GRAINS during detox. The easiest way I have ever tapered off of suboxone( I have tried ibogaine 5 times, kratom, ultram/tramadol,imodium ad, etc..)or had a mild detox from opiates was to take the suboxone for 30 days and taper 2 mg every 10 days until at the last mg. You want to break the last mg down into 4 quarters and continue the same detox. Once down to the last ..mg, take this every other day for the last 10 days and then jump off with clonidine for one week(NO LONGER DO TO REBOUND HYPERTENSION WHICH WAS SERIOUS FOR ME) hydroxizine(Vistaril)and buspar or welbutrin. I was able to detox and taper and not even lose a nights sleep. My only symptoms were depression(mild) and extreme fatigue which is from adrenal fatigue which we all will go through with any opiate detox. Staying on for under a week is not long enough for the body to adjust and the cravings will be insane and the relapse much greater.

The nalaxone in suboxone does Nearly NOTHING when taken as directed. Read up before you post. All the naloxone is there for is to deter people from IVing the drug. Nalaxone is not activated sublingually.
