I just a five day course of Avelox about 2.5 weeks ago, and I am having another episode. I meet with doc, and I want to ask her about the most effective antibiotic for bronchiectasis. I am so frustrated about not being able to stay well for any length of time.
I have taken 4 rounds of Zithromax and then Avelox for 6 months almost. 40 days ago I went to the ER because of a bad case of hemopthysis. I took 10 Avelox, didn't do the tricks, but another 10 did. It seemed to be not too bad at the moment. I have never taken as many antibiotics as I have this winter, but my theory is, that maybe it wasn't cold enough to kill the germs.
