I have been a smoker for 30 years and have been a runner for 25 years. I have not really experienced any illness due to smoking so didn't feel inclined to stop. However, on Sunday I banged the back of my head quite badly lots of blood and a big gash. I didn't goto A and E but when I woke up on Monday I didn't want to smoke and I'm now on day 3 and do not crave a cigarette and don't think I ever will. My husband smokes and can't smoke around me as it makes me feel so sick it's untrue. Is it possible that banging my head has made me go from a mad smoker to a total non smoker. I have had no cravings and been in a great mood. Physical withdrawal a tight chest and a bit confused.
