Hi, I am 36 years old female and I am on diet for two months already. In these two months I didn't loose a single pound and I couldn't believe it is possible. I was really strict to my diet and I felt very depressed when I saw result. I don't know if I would continue with diet and if it has any sense. Also I would like to add that I am not hypothyroid.
Hi, it is not so common for proper diet to show no effects. However every diet need some time to start working. Also there are some other conditions which may give similar results. It would be corticosteroid therapy which may cause Cushing disease. It would be good to consult your doctor and nutritionist too about diet you are using and eventually make some changes.

Have you ever tried a nutritional cleanse? I'm a personal trainer, and have used this particular product and have seen some pretty extraordinary results, it is definetely worth a shot, vs having some doctor prescripe more drugs to fix what might just be your body needing a really good nutritional cleanse, you would be shocked what I have seen people become as a result! Healthy!! Remember, "health care" is really in the Sickness business...

Well in my opinion, diets never work, and if you do end up loosing weight, it's in a very unhealthy way. If you're going to go on a diet, don't make it so restricting. And if you hardly eat anything, they say that your body thinks it's starving itself, so it stores fat, so you end up gaining weight. My suggestion is that you don't go on a diet, just eat healthily, (a good amount of meats, fruits, vegetables etc.), and exercise regularly. It works every time, trust me.

I too have dieted over spring breakup for 2 months. I quit gorging myself once a days and started eating five small meals per day like they say to do. I took all the latest diet pills, started working out again and bicycling. I even quit drinking, salads and healthy foods and nothing works so I share your frustration. The only thing that has ever worked for me in the past is HGH. If you can find someone who sells the real stuff. After 30 days you'll look down and you wont have a belly, it's that effective. You can sit on the couch every night and eat a pale of ice cream and you'll still lose weight. That's what I'm going to do next because I just wasted 2 months of my life dieting it feels.

Finally, someone who isn't spouting the same unhelpful "just eat healthy, drink water and keep your chin...I mean CHINS up, You'll get there!" I am seeing my doctor tomorrow to go over my blood work. I have beed dieting for over a month with NO WEIGHT LOSS. Diets that 6 months ago worked like a charm are having no effect. I am losing my mind, I literally just saw my sister who gave birth to twins 5 months ago and she is at least 5 pounds less than me... and 2 inches taller. I just turned 35, I weigh 132 pound (a new record for me!) and I am going to tell my doctor I want HGH, he works with bio identical. I don't know WTF else to do. I think seeing my sister just broke me. If he can't help I am going to stop eating, my metabolism can't possibly get any slower so I am not worried about "going into starvation mode"
