My cat needs to go on a diet, and I have been browsing around for diet cat foods. I have seen a few different ones but it seems that they are all the variety in the tin, which my cat doesn't eat all that often. Can anyone tell me if there are any good dry cat foods for cats that need to go on a diet? If she doesn't like the taste she will just refuse to eat anything, and I don't want that either.

I did a lot of searching, and the healthiest cat food that can be readily found in grocery stores is called Purina Naturals with vitamins and minerals (green bag). It has no animal bi-products or unnecessary additives, preservatives, sugars, etc that will harm their health. My cat was fed homemade tuna-based soft food (spoiled, I know!) until he was 6 mo old, so I would assume he would be a little pickier than usual, but he loves this dry food.
