Hello!
I would like to know about diets for women because well, I am a woman and I want to lose weight! Opinions seem to be divided about diets for men and women, and whether or not women have different dietary needs, but now that I am in my mid-thirties, and have grown a tummy seemingly out of nowhere without changing my diet, it seems obvious to me that women do have different needs. Sure, men have beer bellies but, stating the obvious once again, they are caused by excess beer consumption - isn't that so? My fat tummy certainly was not caused by excess beer or even excess food. It just grew, all by itself. The question is now, if this is something that happens to women, then what is the best diet to lose weight for women?
Opinions welcome!

I know what you mean. I have a bit of a tummy myself. I am lazy though, admittedly, and do not do any exercise other than the physical activities that daily life forces you into without your realising it. I am sure that, if I were to make exercise a part of my every day life, the tummy would shrink in an instant. If you are eating a balanced diet and have done so for a long time, then I think sport, and not diet, needs to be your first point of call. Have you thought about that?
