BIG Areolas

I too am looking for the same answer as to why my areolas are so large. If I were to push a ruler against it and measure the longest part of it, it's about 8cm long & 5.5cm wide.. I have no idea why they are so large, and my actual breasts aren't very big at all, they are between a b-c at the moment. My mum said hers were the same when she was younger and that my breasts will get larger as I get older and they wont look so big then. But i'm not so sure. I'm 1 of 3 sisters and they all have larger breasts than me. I'm 19 and the programme on tv called "embarassing bodies" said that your breasts usually stop growing when you're about 14.. I use to hate them but my partner doesn't seem to mind, and I don't see other womans breasts so they just look normal to me now.. *shrug* wish I knew the answer as recently i've notice my areolas are actually starting to get bigger.. If any one finds out what it is that makes them bigger or how to make them stop growing, let me know! Nice to read comments from people who find them attractive.

Large areolas are the sexiest with out a doubt.  Any man that says other wise is not a man at all.

I also have large areolas. I find them awkwardly huge compared to my pretty average-sized breasts. For some years I've felt really bothered by them, so I'm surprised to see that many men actually like them.. if it's true. I don't know if I'll ever be able to like them, but this site did make me feel a bit more confident. Thanks.

I LOVE large areolas! I once dated a girl with huge dark areolas. Once we progressed to the point where I finally saw them I was totally turned on by her large areolas. My wife has large, but not huge areolas and more of a reddish color. Of course I married her for her personality and other traits! But I still occasionally dream of my former girlfriend's large dark areolas. You'd be surprised how many guys feel the same as me. So don't do anything - just find somebody who appreciates you for what you are - we are out here!

I have the same problem you are born with what you have and I've just learned to accept.

I can't think of a bigger turn-on than a big areola. They're extremely feminine, sexual, and arousing. For arousal, areola size is more important than breast size for me. You'll definitely get a lot of men going with your areolas. They're beautiful. And to the woman who talked about hers darkening, that's very beautiful too.

First off, love yourself for who you are.. Having big areolas is very sexy, well to me at least. and believe me i'm not the only man who think so. -jay.

I have large areolas and big nipples too. I am not a mother so when my husband pointed it out to me I was like wow you are right they have gotten bigger. I thought something was wrong with my breast and I'm very busty so I was wondering if that had something to do with it?

ok......i was looking for natural ways to reduce my areola whn i found this site. i never actully evn look at my boobs cuz they have this realy big sized areola. but just reading the posts i feel relieved. now maybe i will not find them ugly. appreciation brings about a lot of difference. i olrdy feel pretty bout them...thanku...:)

Wow thank you for your input guys. I also have large areolas with small breast (small b cup) and i've always hated it. Now it's more of a problem because i'm single since a few months and slept with 2 guys, and i was making sure it was dark enough so they cannot see the big areolas. :/ I have to find a way to be more secure about it but can't help it, i find it ugly and i'm still skeptical after reading the comments here, thinking that it's really a minority who don't find big areolas repulsive. I have to work on my self confidence in that case. ;)

Trust me it sucks. I have the same problem and my boyfriend is always saying he loves my body but just wishes they were smaller. I've thought about getting surgery so they would be smaller, but I never liked the idea. You could that, or a neat little trick my doctor told me is that just take some water proof liquid cover up that matches the skin tone of your boobs and cover up some of the areola. Ever since then, my boyfriend hasn't said anything about them again.
