My wife had a total gastrectomy, distal pancreotomy, and tumnor removed from the small bowel. Six weeks after surgery was eating well, chicken and carot meals, etc. digesting fine. The regurgitation of everything she ate started and lasted a long time each time she ate.
Within the last 4 weeks the regurgitation came with yellow bile, burning the esophogus and lots of nausea. In the hospital now from lack of nutrition. She cant eat as everything makes her nausea and when she forces it she throws it up undigested sometimes hours later with the bile. Also had some bile that was brown and smalled like feces 3 nights ago. Hasn't been that bad in the last two days (colour that is) but still vomitting bile and nausea all the time. Xrays show no blocks, scans all clear for disease, and ultrasound shows suspected gallstones. Zofran, gravol, Reglan not helping.
