I have the same pain, I've had it for as long as I can remember, I asked a doctor but he kinda just said to keep an eye on it, there's no consistency with it as in there's never a certain time where you know its gonna happen, it kinda just happens, I'll stand up and stretch out like normal and bam it feels like I've been stabbed, and then peeing is brutal, sometimes it makes me sweat and get nauseas, its really unpleasant

For all of the girls experiencing this pain, I have been experiencing a pain in my bladder/pelvic area off and on for about 2 years now. The pain often comes after I workout. It was very frustrating and felt like the pain/irritation of a UTI but no other symptoms. I went to the doctor and was negative for a UTI. They referred me to a women's clinic and who did an abdominal check and they did not know. They referred me to get an ultrasound done to check for stones or cysts. That was negative so they referred me to a urologist. He prescribed me bladder spasm meds which did not work then He did the exam where he looked inside my bladder with a camera (extremely painful) and he said everything looked normal and couldn't explain what was wrong. I can't begin to tell you how frustrating it was been that no one can tell me what is going on. I went back to a doctor a year later because it was still causing me pain, and he said I should have a procedure done to look inside my abdomen around ovaries and bladder to see if I have endometriosis. I have not had this procedure done yet bc I have gotten so frustrated with the situation. So for all of you wondering if you should go to the doctor..... I went to multiple and have had ZERO results.

From reading all your experiences, you Might find you have tight pelvic floors. Pelvic floor is a muscle that holds up your urthra, vagina, penis and rectun and is like a sling from your back to your PSOAS muscle and hip flexor are also attached. After exercise try stretching these areas everyday and see if you can elongate them. That has been my problem and I suffered with UTIs for two years. Had to have internal physio and the UTIs have stopped.mmaube have your body checked for aligment have muscles in the wrong place or too tight can affect organs.

I don't have this pain very often but when I do it hurts like crazy. I'm 18 and when I stand up, even when I haven't been sitting long, I get a sharp and long painful pain in my lower abdomen and almost into my urethra area. It's almost like it's a line of pain going down. I don't know what this is or how major it is. Please help ASAP.

I am a 28 male who has also been experiencing these exact symptoms a couple times a year for the past 8 years or so. It feels like a tight pain in my lower abdominal area and straightening my torso or stretching causes me to really feel the pain. When peeing the pain is sharper and sometimes takes awhile for the flow to start. I think it is happens when I've had too much tea or not enough water. I'm glad I'm not the only one who's had this problem!

Maybe it could be interstitial cystitis? I am not a doctor by any means I am not sure.

Check to see if your spine is straight. If the top vertebrae in your neck is crooked due to whip lash or fall it will misalign your spine and lift your hip up on one side. One leg will become shorter. This is called Atlas subluxation. Now what happens is this... your muscles will cramp in your hips and pull on your low abdominal muscles causing knots in your stomach. Muscles in the low abdominal area. Look up Atlas subluxation up on the computer. Study it Now go to a N.u.c.c.a Dr . National upper cervical care Dr. A chiropractor who only fixes the Atlas along with 3 xrays of your neck. Your regular Dr. can not fix this. It is done with a math problem along with your xrays. All the muscles in your neck, back, hips and stomach will take the brunt of this misalignment. The low abdominal contracted muscles will pull and put a strain on your bladder. Check it out. Also the Misaligned Atlas will pinch the stem of your brain. The arteries that are attached to the Atlas will be strained and crooked thus causing headaches. The arteries attached to the atlas will be torched thus cutting off the much need blood supply to the brain. My best to you..PLEASE check this out. This could be your answer...Chrisitne

Your abdominal muscles are contracted when you stretch thus putting a strain on the bladder. If your hip is off it will pull on your stomach muscles. The hip can be off due to a whip lash or fall...Some kind of injury.
When this happens the first vertebrae at the top of your neck called the Atlas will be out of alignment thus causing all the other vertabrae to be out as well. You have to go to a NUCCA Dr. CHRIPRATOR National upper cervical care association. 3 xrays are needed of your neck to determine if your spine is off. If the spine is off due to the Atlas misalignment the Hips will be off cussing the muscles to be shortened thus these contracted muscles pull on the lower abdominal muscles which will pull on the bladder muscles..
Look on line for a NUCCA Dr. in your area. Get the xrays FIrst this is important. Check to see if this Dr.
is good and how long has he been working. Check him pit first.
