I had a total hysterectomy (ovaries, uterus, cervix removed) and this morning I had bright red blood. A little more that average "spotting".
It stopped and then I had a tinge more of bright red about and hour later.
What could cause this?
I do feel crampy, I have for about 2 days.
I will call my Dr but wanted to see if I could get an idea before i went to see him. It usually takes awhile to get in his office.

Hi Jean if you find out what could be the cause I would really like to know. I had a complete hysterectomy about 3 years ago and I am still experiencing spotting sometimes for a few days and then again for a week at others. I have asked my doctor he said it might be a couple of cyst that I keep irritating I am scheduled for a surgery talk this week. I just hope they figure it out this is really annoying and I'm tired of having this. It is almost like I am still having a monthly period including some cramps. I just don't understand being that they took everything out of me (uterus, tubes, ovaries and cervix).

I had a complete hysterectomy 3 years ago, and had ovaries removed also. I have had slight spotting for 2 days. What could be the cause?
