After briefly reviewing the posts; I too have a similar situation. Had a supracervical hysterectomy almost 3 years ago, and I noticed once last month and today that when I wipe there is a resemblence of dry blood on the toilet paper. Also, just today, there was an obvious blood spot when I removed my undergarments. Not sure whats going on, and was wondering if anyone had any concrete answers from her physician/GYN. I am planning to make an appointment, but was hoping someone could share something.....
I had a hysterectomy about 4 years ago, my ovaries were also removed. I bled for 4 months afterward, caused from granular tissue growth. Once the doctor removed that the bleeding stopped. Yesterday I noticed blood on my toilet tissue. Could the granular tissue have grown back, or could there be a cyst somewhere else, where I don't know, since there are no ovaries? Today I am bleeding again and I am concerned, but will wait before calling the doctor. Does any one know what might cause this?
I, too, had a total hysterectomy about 10 years ago and I have had some light bleeding lately.
Each time (today was the 4th) I was on my feet doing a great deal of physical work. I also have severe lower back pain. The blood is dark and very minimal. I am making an appointment with my doctor tomorrow. Has anybody experienced the lower back pain?

I had a total hysterectomy 5 years ago and started bleeding recently. I thought it was from hemroids or something, but discovered last night that it was not from that area, it was vaginal. Not sure if I should call the doctor or wait? The bleeding has been going on for about a month, only once it was real heavy that I need a sanitary napkin.
Hi Ladies after reading your posts i am still confused on what this is...I had a complete hysterectomy about 12 years ago, no ovaries remain I am on Premarin and have been, Lately when I wipe I have noticed small brown "things" on the tissue...to me it looks like brown pieces of skin, I don't have any other symptoms...but this is driving me nuts!!!! what could this be?? I don't go and see my Gynecologist until June, If anyone has any ideas on this please, please post and let us concerned ladies Know :-)

I had the super cervial h as well like 5 years ago and I still bleed here and the worst is when i'm not bleeding but me and my husband have sex and after there is blood everywhere. It is awful and makes me uncomfortable because we never know when it will happen. And now for two months I have had lower back pain really bad and had many test done. All is normal except I do have a 3cm cyst on my left ovary but they do not think it is causing my back pain. And the other day out of the blue a got my period but its not bright red it is more dark brown. Just at a lost on what to do the back pain is getting so exhusting. Any help would be great.
i'm glad i found this topic, but a bit disconcerted that no answers have been posted yet. i had an ovary removed due to a dermoid cyst about 4 years ago. in the past 6 months, if i do anything involving my lower abs, such as sit ups, i spot bright red clots a few hours afterward coupled with a noticeable pain near where the incision was made. i surely thought things would have been healed in there after all this time, but i think it's connected to the bleeding. and the feeling on my stomach below my navel has not come back yet...don't know if it ever will. i wanted to do some research before i went to the doctor....but that's my story...
i have all of these symtons and have been to afraid to go to the doctors, i had a operations for cyst on my ovaries 6 yrs ago, but this time its more painful, ive lost 7 stone in weight .
I had a total hysterectomy 4 years ago; still have both ovaries. I have been having some occasional spotting for the last few weeks. Initially I thought that I might have a small vaginal cyst left over from when I had to have a larger infected cyst removed approximately a month earlier. Saw the family doctor yesterday and he could not see anything that might explain the spotting. I also do not feel any pain or lumps like I had earlier. My doctor has booked an ultrasound, which is scheduled for Monday. I have been stressing out, obviously, because we often think that it could be the worse case scenario. Keeping my fingers crossed that the ultrasound will provide answers and a clear remedy will exist. Best of luck to all women going through this.
I have light spotting and still have my ovaries. All the symptoms u have described apply to me. Difficult bowel movements, some fullness. No sex for several years. I also urinate continually chalking it up to lots go fluid intake.

Same thing happened in my household. your having bleeding after sex because of the cyst. also cyst are full of old blood. and when mine started to burst is when i would have dark brown discharge, and it had an odor., and made by back hurt as well. had to end up getting a complete hysto. found out i had 1st stage cancer. please go an see the doctor!
Have her checked for Von Willebradnds disease. It's a bleeding disorder.
i had hysterectomy every lil' bit got taken ( i had blood clotting disorder or so I was assumed to believe back them) difficult pregnancy and almost gave birth at 25 weeks genstation first pregnancy normal!! So obgyn deided to take all of my innerds... I had so scar tissue removed 3 months after hyserectomy but just pain at incisions of course it is a big area. But I have not had any bleeding or anything up until 2 nights ago!! I woke up to major dark blood in the toilet i called gyno hot line they said call back in the AM, which I did but just keep getting run around so i called PCP, who was able to see me within the hour. He thought it was a bladder infection? Put me on cypro to stop infection but I am bleeding heavily and not feeling so great still!!! heavy bleeding light headed not eating well?? Please help me figure this one out!! I have a beautiful daughter whois only 8 I need her and she needs a mom! I am fostering my niece who is 7 years old she needs a parent and y son is still a teenager! I dont want to find out in six months I have stage four bladder or whatever cancer because no one cared enough to really listen to all my syptoms! I am high tolerance for pain but low tolerance for death :D please help thanks love all of us survivors JIlll
Did you find anything out? I had a hysterectomy about 4 years ago and just recently I have felt like I am ovulating, having that pressure and low back cramps like I have my period. Today was spotting when I wiped. Any answers from anyone would be appreciated. Thanks!
