bleeding during intercourse, no pain, plenty lubrication

My cycle has been slightly irregular since I was 11; It's 4 days long, but really 5 because there's a 6-24 hour pause about right in the middle, and then it gets even heavier than it was before. I've tried Ortho Evera, it made me hysterical. I got with a new guy almost 6 months ago, and in the beginning of our relationship I got a vaginal infection, and took meds to clear it up. But ever since that infection, I've bled mid-coitus (painlessly until afterwards, when my lower stomach/abdomen usually becomes pretty tender), several times throughout the month. It's all starting to make me a little nervous. Some reviews say to seek help immediately and some say it's normal. What should I do?

i have a friend that when we have intercourse she tends to bleed alittle, each time thier is no pain, and she has plenty of lubriecation naturaly,i have confornted her about this because it worrys me, because i dont understand the female body

Omg, this helped me alot, I am only 16 and I'm quite worried about this..I am on the pill and I thought it was that, and nothing came up when I went to the gyno twice. Also, I did use protection..all the other posts didn't seem like they had all the facts..I'm going to see if this actually works though because I haven't thought I'd be bleeding from an orgasm. I bled real bad for the 1st time ever during sex... it freaked me out as the blood was fresh chilli red fluro colour. Its never happened to me before and I am really very concerned about it. Am on a low dosage pill which I take religiously and am 2 wks away from my next period. How long does the bleeding usually start? and have you guys experienced red hot fresh blood too? and will go see the doctor tomorrow if it doesnt stop.

I started bleeding with sex all of a sudden. At first I thought that it was a result of the birth control pills that I was taking. However, I realized that the pills were not the problem. Sometimes I would bleed and other times I would not. It was hit or miss. The blood was always bright red and the amount of blood would change on each instance. Sometimes there would be just a little and other times I would soak a towel. I spoke with my doctor and she suggested that I get a colposcopy. She believed that the problem was related to my cervix. She found a spot on my cervix and removed it. She stated that it tested positive for HPV. She also stated that since she removed the abnormal spot, the bleeding should stop in about a month....well it did not. I went back and she then suggested that we check for endometriosis. I had a laraproscopy. I did not have endometriosis; however, I did have a small fibroid tumor which she removed. She also performed laser ablation on my cervix. The fibriod is the likely culprit for the bleeding...but to be sure, she also used the laser on my cervix to remove the abnormal areas that were present. I know that each of our cases are different, but I hope that sharing my experience may be of some help to you.

I myself just experienced this tonight. Which its so damn frustrating because, this guy and i had just worked things out. It was out first time having sex with eachother, and he totally and completly hates me for it now. He thinks something is wrong with me, and doesn't want anything to do with me now. I dont know what to do, or say to make him want to talk to me again, its not my failt and its def. not fair bcuz i have no control over it, whats so ever, and he seriously doesnt want anything to do with me now. i googled it and found this, explained it to him, and he said haha ok bye. thats it. this is so damn frustrating. any thoughts on how to make him understand...??

I've been bleeding VERY heavily during sex for the past year or so now, and my periods are extremely frequent, bleeding every 15 days or so..

I'm 22 years old - have had a clean pap and an ultrasound.
Always with the same partner, I have been married for two years now.

Everything was said to be normal, except during the pap, when she swabbed, there again i started bleeding very very heavily.. She didn't know why.

I need help, I've tried to go to the doctors but I cant just keep going, its too expensive and no one knows whats wrong...

i was on the depo-provera shot in january, but didn't continue to take the shot the three months following. so recently ive had sex and i bled during intercourse. i havent had my period since january, or bled at all from the time period of february til present. could the pressure from sex caused me to bleed? i'm really scared it happened both times i've had sex in one night, and it only happened during not after. this was the first time i've ever bled during intercourse. a few days after, i found a brownish dry blood color discharge on my underwear (the one usually found before i get my period). although, i haven't gotten my period at all. also, sometimes, after sex (prior to this incident) i'd see a little bit of very light blood on the condom. it is very light though. could this be caused by the depo-provera shot and lack of regular cycle, or do you think i have something? please help me!

Hey Im having some of the same problems but different- I've always been able to time my periods to the hour and day it would fall on, then this month I'm having sex with my boyfriend and bam I get my period 11 days early. It was a normal flow period and went away in the normal time. Then 11 days later, I'm having sex again and I start spotting,no pain or anything. Never happened ever in my life. I don't take birth control because it makes me whack and I lose my sex drive. Now, this is key, me and my boyfriend use the "pull out" method, and I was reading somewhere you can still get pregnant that way. The spotting stopped, it only lasted 2 days and it only spotted during sex, HELP*NEED TO UNDERSTAND WHAT THIS MEANS!!!! :?

Did anyone finally get an answer to this bleeding during intercourse problem? Did the laser ablation help? I've been having the same problem for 3 years now. Sometimes I bleed sometimes not. Sometimes I won't bleed for a month and than for no reason I bleed again. Very scary... My husband and I want to get pregnant. One Dr. told me it was an anatomical thing. That my uterus is tilted back and during the month depending on my cycle my cervix becomes more exposed during sex. And that it is bleeding because of this exaggerated exposure. He said get pregnant and that should help... How can I get pregnant if I bleed. I can't even finish having sex !

I was glad to read this and see that other women are experiencing the same problem. I have been married for 5 years and I started bleeding during sex just a few months ago. I have been on BC for 10 years ( I am 26) I am on the NuvaRing for 2-3 years and I love it. I am thinking that this problem is being caused by the hormones of the BC, but I will have to go to my Dr. to make sure everything is ok.
I can related to those who feel embarrassed and sad that this is ruining the sex life, and my own insecurities make me fear that my husband will get completely turned off and won't have sex with me anymore. I know he won’t cheat but I don’t even want to think about sex in fear this will keep happening, this is putting a lot of stress on me and I really don’t know how to deal or who to turn to.

I've also been bleeding during sex,it usually stops after but it didn't the last time i had sex which is about a month ago the bleeding went on for about 5 days i thought it was my period but that always last 7 but i just ignored it then the bleeding came back 3 days later and went on for a couple days then stopped then came back for 7 days which i assume it was my period yet again it went away then a day later the bleeding started again for about an hour then nothing all was fine the next day then after that same thing except the bleeding lasted only 20minutes then stopped...this was 2 days ago then last night i went to the washroom and when i got up there was at least enough blood in the toilet to fill a (light tampon) so i put one in and when i woke up nothing was there......It's scares the c**p outta me...I've been to the hospital etc all they did was take a pregnancy test and tell me it's negative an recommend i stop my B/C which i did an am still experiencing bleeding problems...I have a b12 deficiency which i get a b12 injection every month i actually just started that..I don't think that could be the cause,because this has been going on jus before my first and only shot...but it happened just after i started muti vitamins...I don't know if that has anything to do with it,but information does help!....Also i had an abortion back in april and a dnc in may for left over products.i only had thee abortion because i can't stay pregnant for longer then 3 months and at the time i was just starting to miscarriage and i just wanted to hurry up the process thinking it wouldn't be as bad as going though a miscarriage since i've been through 6 already....I've heard horrible stories since then that abortions and dnc's causes scaring and other problems....could this be why i'm having bleeding problems now? i also discovered that other then this bleeding now, i bleed when i orgasm... has anyone had any problems like all this and found out what the cause was? I'm scared to go to the doctor yet again and i've lost all faith in the heath care system seeing they barely do much to figure things out... I'm 23 yrs old an have been with the same partner for 8 yrs (stds are ruled out),so it's obviously just a problem with me,But what?

i've been noticing lately that i've been bleeding during sex. at times its painful almost like im sore, and at times my boyfriend and i notice a little bit of blood. i've been reading about this everywhere and im actually scared to death of what this could be. im not quite 18 yet, so im not sure if going to the doctor without my mom knowing is even an option, and theres no way im telling my mother. does anybody know of a way to help my situation, i just want to make sure everything is alright.

I appreciate finding these comments b/c I've been going through the same thing since I was in my mid-twenties, i'm in my early thirties and it's getting worse. I've been off and on birth control pills since I was 16, and have seen two obgyns and all tests come back normal. They also said my cervix is tilted and that's why I bleed. At this point, I don't care, I want this condition fixed b/c it's so frustrating; I can't have sex w/o worrying about this. My partner is understanding, but I feel that it will eventually drive him away if nothing can be done.
