I had a hemoroidectomy on 27th June 14 and its now the 14th July and I still have bleeding from the affected area as well as a itchy burning feeling around the anus too and when I have a BM I think there appears to be a large swlling on one side of the anus. is this normal?
I use the shower head after every BM to make sure I'm clean and use 'wet wipes' to clean myself too, I'm taking softeners and ibuprofen to ease the inflamation, i also am using sanitary towels to wear under my trousers to give myself a bit of comfort when moving around, this is the start of the 3rd week since surgery and not sure if i should ho back to work or not on the 21st.
