I don't know what the problem is but it's been happening off and on for a few years. I'm just wondering if anyone else has this problem and what's wrong or what it's called.

What happens is this:

You know when you do a full-body stretch...think of a cat...lol. Well, whenever I do that, even if I yawn or not, when I lean my head back it feels like the little bones in the front of my throat, right in the front center part, will lock into place and I can't move until I swallow and there is a popping sound and it feels like they unlock and I can swallow easier. It's very painful while it's happening as well and for a few minutes afterwards swallowing is uncomfortable. It does this every single time I stretch and lean my head back.

Thank you for any information!
