My mum has constant diarrhea, takes Imodium numerous times a day and still needs to rush to the toilet numerous times a day. After 3 years of this, a colonoscopy ( nothing wrong with the bowel) she has developed pelvic pain, she hasn't lost any weight, what could these symptons mean?

How long has she been taking the Imodium? Is it prescribed for her, by her doctor? Repeated use can cause SEVERE bowel problems.
Long term use also carries risks.
She needs to see her doctor for the pelvic pain. It may not be related but there is a possibility.
