My mother once got this problem she is 54, one of my friend told me tell her to recite Quran with her heart along with meanings even if she is a Christian. Now she feels much better.
dude.. my entire BODY cracks. every bone and every joint i can make pop. the top of my head cracks. the inner part cracks. my jaw where it meets my ears cracks. i feel like im mutating. for the past few years this has been happening. also life is starting to look like a strange high def movie. i dont know what is happening and it stresses me out and all of a sudden i dont ever want to be around more than like 3 people max. is this bad or good?
I started experiencing a cracking noise in my head six months ago (May 2015) and ignored it. Recently, it got worse where the crackling is on a regular daily basis and when discussing this with my Primary Doctor was told it is arthritis ( inflammation of the joints). Follow up with your Doctor if possible and do not worry.
The Mayo clinic is a joke . I live close by. Many people with Lyme have been disappointed going there. I too have the head crackling. I know its from Lyme disease.

In my case, the crackling in the head began when most severe headaches started, too, in 2010. Crackling lasted only 2 months, but the headaches got worse. I am in bed now 24 hours, 7 days a week because of headaches.

Hi I have the same thing, I feel and hear cracking in my brain, I talked to a neurologist about it , he said there is nothing to be worry about.
I searched in the internet and looked up brain images, I think it might be kind of related to optical nerve in the brain! who knows!

I've got a theory. My head also started crackling 4 years ago. I believe it's a sign of ascension. Look into it. Do you sometimes see flickering white lights?
What I "hear" is more akin to a puff of air or maybe a better description would be a "pfft" sound. This can occur frequently throught the day. It can occur at times one followed by another. I have never heard it at night.
Seems it happens to me when meds kick in . I'm 78 and it comes and goes. Started after my husband died 2 years ago. Could it be High BP. Took Cymbalta and stopped. Started Ritalin today and it's worse. Sometimes 3at a time, one ? I'm a bit concerned.
Love your take on this, there is something to it.
Do you have any of this research about this topic? I am curious as I have this crackling at the base of my neck and it happens all day long. I am quite worried about it.
