Hello ,I had bunion surgery on Sept.21,09 and I work in a busy doctors office rooming patient giving shots and drawing blood. I am suppose to go back to work on Monday BUT NOT SURE IF i CAN STAND for 8 hours. I am doing crutches and a walker but pretty much laying down with foot elevated .My question is when can I really get back to work on a normal basic level? 8-|
HI there, with bunion surgery the recovery time from the surgery is usually about two months. During that period of time, you will probably not be back to normal just yet. You will probably be unable to stand for eight hours... Have you talked to your employer about it yet?
