I had my hip replacement back on (8/25/16) and while on meds, I didn't feel much pain, and figured my stiffness would go away in a few months max.  [I'm and ex-fitness & yoga instructor, and know others who had the same surgery and had no pain after a few weeks, and were back to their workouts within a few months.]

I'm very concerned, as I am experiencing this stiffness, and pins&needles, numbness, when I sit longer than 15 min. and/or after doing my therapy exercise.  While sleeping is when I feel it most.

I have stiffness, burning, & pins&needly numbness that came on after I weaned myself off my meds.  I complained to my surgeon and he said different people heal at different rates. However Im concerned?

Has anyone else experienced this?

How and When did it go away?

What did you do to get back to normal?

I've read about possibility of infection, but don't have a fever.

Although I've been getting night sweats and i'm post menopausal, I'm concerned.

Any feedback is greatly appreciated, as my Dr. doesn't seem concerned.

Thank you in advance for any advice.
