Hello, my friends. I have a baby that is younger than a year. I have recently started giving him solid food, i.e. potato. After a while, he got some skin rash. I am afraid that this might be potato allergy. Is it possible for children under a year to develop this kind of allergy? I would really be grateful for this piece of info.
Hello. You are right. Potatoes are usually the first thing that is introduced into baby’s meals as a solid food. And it is possible for children under a year of age to develop potato allergy. I would recommend you to stop giving your son potato. Take him to the doctor. He will do the allergy tests. Only after that, you will be able to know if your son is really allergic to potatoes or not. I hope he is not. Good luck!
