In all my years of masturbating, I rarely use lube when I masturbate. I tried on occasion, but it didn't feel much different and it was just more to clean up. I've never had a problem with chafing or anything. I read online that it can be potentially dangerous. Is this true? I'm circumcised, by the way.

Dangerous to whom, the guy standing in front of you?
Seriously, I have been dry rubbing for 40+ years with no problem. I am NOT circumcised and I began when I got tired of my glans being so sensitive I couldn't stand to touch it. When I was a kid I used to see my cut friends rub their bare heads without pain while I would jump through the roof if mine got touched. I reasoned that they must have become that way because their glans had been exposed to being rubbed against everything since birth so what I needed to do was bare it, touch it and bear it. Of course it was sticky when I bared it so the first thing I had to do was clean it well so it would not be sticky after it dried. That way I would be able to slide my fingers over it without them sticking to it. I cleaned it with rubbing alcohol which was a thrill in itself. It felt cold at first then hot and then it tingled. After it dried my fingers were able to slide over it easily. Doing that very gently at first then with a little more pressure as I got used to it did the trick. Of course doing that became a huge turn on which resulted in masturbating every time I did that. Finally I decided to force myself to hold my foreskin back tight and dry rub it until I came just like the cut guys were able to do. I have been dry rubbing ever since because it just feels so good compared to rolling the foreskin and definitely better than using any type of lube. It just feels great rubbing that dry head with dry fingers and even with dry cloth. Using a sock over it works great and it even catches the cum. Different socks have different textures that provide a great variety for increased fun. It's been over 40 years now and no problems.
