Don't be afraid to talk to her even tho you made a mistake that's what your mom is there for. I got pregnant on bc several times. She may be disappointed however she will be glad u went to her in that time of need.
It says directly on most birth control that it can have side effects.
I think you're probably be just fine. If you're worried that the dissolved pill isn't effective, then use condoms or another barrier for at least a week (or until your next period), but keep taking the pills regularly (every day, same time of the day). If you don't get your period at the end of the pill-pack, grab a pregnancy test over the counter and see. Otherwise, if you get your period, simply begin taking the next pack (and on time!). The instructions that come iwth your birth control packet explain what to do if you miss a pill or two pills. Read them carefully. Also read the warning signs, which will tell you that antibiotics may render BC pills inactive. Ask your pharmacist about the medications you fill with him. Remember, too, that if you take a pill and get sick and vomit shortly thereafter, that pill may not be effective. So use a back-up method. I've been taking my BC pills every day at around the same time (right before bed) for years and years and years. When I get sick and take antibiotics, I use condoms. When I miss more than one pill, I use condoms (until the next cycle). If you're taking them right, you're going to be perfectly fine. I've been taking BC pills since high school and now I'm in law school. I'm happy and pregnancy-free!! If you're worried about taking the pills correctly, you might want to try the Nuva Ring. It works great and is super convenient. I tried it and loved it, but switched back to the pill because it was cheaper and I take other pills in the evening anyway. I hope this was helpful!!
Yes, when you take the sugar pills your period should automatically begin. Works for me and I've been on BC for a long time.
