the only way a woman cant have a baby is if she cant carry. but if her periods are irregular it means she isnt ovulating the same time every month which can make it difficult to concieve. which is why they have fertility specialists. but i would be careful using them. my mother and aunt both did that and they both had twins. it all depends on hormone levels. try them ovulation and fertility tests. :) good luck!!!

Don't be afraid to talk to her even tho you made a mistake that's what your mom is there for. I got pregnant on bc several times. She may be disappointed however she will be glad u went to her in that time of need.

It says directly on most birth control that it can have side effects.

I think you're probably be just fine. If you're worried that the dissolved pill isn't effective, then use condoms or another barrier for at least a week (or until your next period), but keep taking the pills regularly (every day, same time of the day). If you don't get your period at the end of the pill-pack, grab a pregnancy test over the counter and see. Otherwise, if you get your period, simply begin taking the next pack (and on time!). The instructions that come iwth your birth control packet explain what to do if you miss a pill or two pills. Read them carefully. Also read the warning signs, which will tell you that antibiotics may render BC pills inactive. Ask your pharmacist about the medications you fill with him. Remember, too, that if you take a pill and get sick and vomit shortly thereafter, that pill may not be effective. So use a back-up method. I've been taking my BC pills every day at around the same time (right before bed) for years and years and years. When I get sick and take antibiotics, I use condoms. When I miss more than one pill, I use condoms (until the next cycle). If you're taking them right, you're going to be perfectly fine. I've been taking BC pills since high school and now I'm in law school. I'm happy and pregnancy-free!! If you're worried about taking the pills correctly, you might want to try the Nuva Ring. It works great and is super convenient. I tried it and loved it, but switched back to the pill because it was cheaper and I take other pills in the evening anyway. I hope this was helpful!!

Wrap it up just to be sure because it is possible to get a girl pregnant on bc.

Yes, when you take the sugar pills your period should automatically begin. Works for me and I've been on BC for a long time.

I have the same problem.. I've been on microgynon 30 pill now for 10 months, ever since my son was born, I have never had problems with it, up until now, last month my uncle passed away, and I was having to travel to himn everyday, and I missed about 4 pills in my pack, the I come on.. My period is normally for 3-4 days and fairly heavy, this time it was for 2 days and very light, I have been very moody, needing to wee more often then normal.. Very tired, feeling sick everyday and also dizzy with the sickness, I'm pretty worried and need advice! Please writeback!

I have been taking trinessa since November 2012, and I have had pregnancy symptoms before, but my doctor run a test and it came back negative. But November 20 I had my period late while on my pill , the next month it was late again but extremely light, this month is the same. Its a little later, but very light.. and I have had many many signs of early pregnancy.. I'm not sure if its just the pills, or if I may be going to have a baby.. I'm not good at taking them at the same time, and I miss pills often, and me and my bf don't use condoms.... just worried
