about a year and a half ago, i was in a really severe car accident, believe it or not, with a tractor trailer, and that car didnt have airbags or anything, i was trapped in my car for about an hour, and police and emergency personel questioned how i was alive (it was right in front of a church, so i think it was by the grace of God). But anyway, i was told that i had severe nerve damage in my left leg, almost to the point to where they would have had to amputate it, but i refused that, and asked if they can reverse the damage, to no avail.

You need to get to get him to a pain clinic a.s.a.p. I have radiculopathy down my right arm. I have been told that it is permanent damage. I suffered excruciating pain until the pain clinic put me on two drugs; Lyrica (pregabalin) and Norspan patch 10mg. Before my injury I wouldn't even take panadol for a headache. In order to have some kind of quality of life I take these meds. They make me very drowsy....but I would rather that than go through the pain.
Good luck, I hope he takes this advice. Caz

Hi im recovering from a bad car accident where i broke c4,5, and 6. Bad nerve damage to hands and arms as well, intense physical therapy helped me regain my movement which i had lost and i take a high dose neurontin for the nerve pain, tell him to try that and try lyrica. Also i wrap my hands and arms in a heating pad as cold water or anything cold is extremely unpleasant like needles. Helps ease the pain. I still burn feel tingling and numb but the neurontin has made it bearable cuz when i wasnt on it i basically cried all day cuz the pain was sooo bad

I hope I never get you for an MD in an emergency room...what are you thinking "breaking your arm so you can pass an exam"...then telling people "weed will get them back to where they were"...jeez..please pick a different profession...we have enough incompetence without you adding to it.

Hello. This is not a joke. And I am not trying to be funny. They are doing amazing discoveries with the medical use of marijuana. Do your own research....

I was at the same point as him, ready to amputate my leg. Please tell him to talk to his dr"s about spinal cord stimulation. I am still in pain, on half of my meds but pain is tolerable. I have the Boston Scientific, my first trial was with medtronics, this works better for me. It is the first time in 2 and 1/2 years that I feel like more than a shell of a person. Make sure you have a dr that specializes in neurostimulation, very imp.

I broke both ankle bones in my right foot, Both come to the outside. and all in all I had nine breaks , leg and foot, I have a very painful foot now and leg due to all this. Screws and metal plates in the leg and ankle bones, I have severe nerve damage. I cannot tell if I am standing on solid ground or not at times and I stumble easily.. I would love to know if I could have this nerve damage reversed but by what I have read , guess I will live with the horrible burning and pain and numbness. I feel for anyone that has this . It has been a year since this has happened and I am 68 years old

Besides nerve pain in my feet, I also have had fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue for 25 years. I'll soon be 70. Many people have had a great deal of success which I feel is a great deal better that the 6 different medications and a pain patch every other day. I thank God for them, but having so many medications fighting one another, it would seem to me that one tablet or cookie with weed, would be much better. It never fails to amaze me why people are so against weed./???????
