It actually metabolizes into Meprobamate (miltown) which is a class 4 controlled substance. It also shows up as morphine as a false positive.
I TAKE ABOUT 6 TO 8 SOMA A DAY,WHEN IM ONLY SUPPOSEDTO TAKE THREE A DAY, I HAVE A DR APPT WED, WILL THIS SHOW UP IN MY URINE TEST
Sorry but you're terribly wrong it is the only relaxant that actually works so many chronic pain patients would be in worse condition if not for soma. Idiots and addicts have caused enough trouble for us in bad daily pain that depend on our medications to live and have some quality of life
I just took a urine test and it was sent off to Alere labs and mine came back positive for hydrocodone, nor hydrocodone, and hydromorphone. All I take is oxy, methadone and soma. Not sure how this happened but that's what came back and the lab said it was the Soma broke down with other opiates I'm prescribed
maybe, before you take a muscle relaxer, you should take spelling lessons
I dont know about the different panel drug tests but i do know this....i am on federal probation and every single test gets sent to the national lab where my urine gets broken down in its totality...meaning any substance...prescribed or not including any foreign substance that is a medication....narcotic or not....scheduled drug on the dea list or not..will come up in my urine....my advice...dont risk your freedom for a high based on what someone tells you on the internet and just so you know, you can lose it based on a false poitive. I know this is late and i apologize.
Meprobamate is not a barbiturate. It's a carbamate and does not have any metabolites that are molecularly similar to any of the barbiturates drugs. The only thing that meprobamate has in common with barbiturates is that it binds to the same receptors in the brain as barbiturates causing similar effects. I'm not sure if taking carisoprodol could cause a false positive on a standard drug test but most likely it wouldn't, but if someone suspect that you were abusing carisoprodol they would have to specifically lab test you for it.
I have been taking Soma for a while and I can assure you that It has never made me withdraw. Ever.
soma? I've never had an OK pt on soma. Percocet, lortab, Rainbow of benzoa, benadryl, coreg, coke smoke/snort/inject, and herion
Soma is one of the best muscle relaxers out there. The best one is Valium which is rarely used anymore. What is this rant of drugs listed. Do you even know what Coreg, you do not. Please look it up. I am a Nurse Practitioner and have been in health care for 43 years. Please do not comment on posts if you do not know what you are talking about. I also have also taken care of many OD's and never any Soma OD's either in my 23 years working in the ER when I was a RN.
I've taken Soma for 14 years, in conjunction with morphine (130 mg ER 3 x day) xanax (1 mg 2 x day) and oxicodone (15 mg 2 x day). I've taken as many as 20 in a day and I'm still kicking. IDK what else those people who you know that died were taking, but either they were not used to it and took way too many or something else killed them.
It Does metabolize into something that can and will be detected on drug screens!
I'm shocked any Dr will prescribe that regiment to you still. None of the drs I've seen lately (and it's quite a few trying to get into drs with my insurance wonky moving back to AZ) will only prescribe 1 pain medicine and that makes pulling teeth seem like a cake walk!! The drs in AZ won't even touch the prescription of 15mg straight oxycodone 4 times daily that a Cali Dr had me on.
Yes it will
Yes you can
