can you get pregnant after tubal ligation

i think i could be pregnant however i also had problems with my clips a year ago i asked for them to be removed

i am almost 2 weeks late with the same symtoms that i had with my other children a long time ago

Put the baby up for adoption, that is better than doing something wrong and that you would regret for the rest of your life. I had problems having children but I had two lovely teenager now. I would love to have another me and my husband love kids and did want another. But I had my tubaligation 10 years ago. I think this would be for the best. I hope you do the right thing.

I'm sorry the problem you are facing. Seems tough to be going through!
My husband I are cursed with infertility issues, but we're blessed with a miracle son, who is now 5 years old. We have are son praying to god every night for a sibling that he probably never get. If it is hard for you to make decision about this, and is hard financially, there are many options. There are women and men who feel just as helpless as you do, but in a different way. So many would be willing to help you!! You would even have option to change your mind come the birth of the baby. Those babies are meant to happen even if not suitable for some lifestyles. I believe they were meant for coupled like us who desire to nurture and love them, just like us! Please consider! I also had a tubal ligation in 1999 and I am now 47 yrs old. 3 months ago I had a menstrual that lasted 2 weeks! I haven't had a cycle since then. Is it possible that I'm pregnant or going through menopause?

I know that it is hard taking care of children. GOd brings us all through things in our lifes for a reason. If you have doubts don't do anything at all just let be what is. Marriage is put through alot of tests too and if GOd give you this little miracle and you make it through it all together just know that you will have a stronger love for each other. I will pray for you and your family and all the others in your situation. Life is hard sometimes the hard times pass though we keep going and along the way alot of good comes too and it passes. Enjoy, we only have one life to live and we all go through good things and bad. We just have to sit back sometimes and let be what is and be positive even in a bad situation. I had one too and I have 3 kids it is hard I mess up no parent is perfect we just have to keep going and love as much as you can do as much as you can and find a way to except it all even unexpected things. I know that God won't put no more on us than we can bare, the bible tells us that all things happen together for the good of those who love the Lord, so I say this to you if you believe in God ask him to work it out because after all he gave you this little miracle in the first place. When my husband and I got married I already had my tubes tide back in 2000 with my last child. The only reason I did it because me and his father were suppose to get married, he had 2 and I had 2 together made 5 and that was enough. Well life tends to send us curve balls and while planning marriage with me he was planning with someone else. To make a long story short my husband and I want a child together but could'nt afford reversal tubal ligation, and now I think I'm pregnant. I was suppose to have came on the 25th of Sept I feel flutters in my stomach but all test show up negative. I was wondering did this happen to you.

I'm 48 and had a tubal 18 1/2 years ago....I must admit that lately I have been yearning for another baby!! I know this is crazy because the three we have are grown, my youngest is about 19. Is it normal for me to feel this way, I know that menopause is just around the corner, so, maybe that's it.....is it 100% impossible for me to get pregnant?

I am currently going through a similar situation. I am 36 years old and had a tubal ligation 10 years ago. I have missed 2 periods now, and the emergency room doctor says it is an ovarian cyst. How long does it take to get your period after a cyst? I am having all kinds of pregnancy symptoms, but my HPT's come up negative. My OB/GYN says woman have normal pregnancies more often than not after a tubal ligation. I, also, just read a study on how ineffective HPT's are. So, I don't know what to do.

I was 42 and had had my tubes ties 8 years prior but learned i was pregnant . My girlfriend is 32 going on 33 i am 27 she has four kids already. She had her tubes tied nine years ago, I understand why she made that choice, but I  worry that she will no longer grant me my wish of having one more baby. Her kids are in middle school and pretty soon will leave the nest to make thir own future. We dont have the money to untie her tubes its very expensive. And I really dont know if she can? Since it is a permanent, It does effect me very bad since I dont have kids of my own, and one day I have to make a choice to stay or leave I really love her and her kiddos!! If you have the cash you can get a reversal, they range anywhere from $3,000 to $5,000. I live in BC, Canada and at UBC in Vancouver they do tubal reversals for around $5,000. Google it and you will find some posts of women who had this done and got pregnant afterwards, it's a possibility with money.

Tubes can regrow back and if they kind of heal with a small opening than sperm CAN travel through it to get you pregnant but chances would be that it could end up ectopic. You would want to get the pregnancy blood test as soon as possible for your health and safety. Read my previous post on tubal reversal. Good luck

Its hard to make a decession like that I was raised cathilic so the choice is easy for me but if your heart said to keep it im sure your husban can find room in his heart for one more child
