I told my doctor about the yellow objects. He asked about bloating, rank gas, diarreah. He said it sounded like food wasn't being digested. properly and to get a pancreas enzyme supplement from the health food store. Within 2 days the yellow object, etc. was gone.

I'm having same problem and my doctor seems to not know what is causing this.... it started out red in color now gold yellowish-orange in color in my stool.... I'm very concerned about this my doctor thought he had the answer by saying the dairy product is mixing in with other medication.... I don't eat dairy products

after reading your article and other's, I don't feel alone in fact much better. However, I'm still concerned about this because this is my body... I do take metformin but no dairy products within my system which this is what the doctor said to me is the cause.... I opened one of the capsules up and it was white chalk cake like inside outside started out dark red now yellowish-orange this is not normal for anyone and I really need answers.... thanks for your posting

I have been taking metformin for over 20 years and only in the past few days have I seen these capsule shaped pale yellow things in my stool. Sorry this may be gross but since I'd never seen them before I fished one out and it is a fatty consistency. But they are prefectly shaped and this is the 2nd day I've seen them. So strange!!! It's not a pill or a pill casing for sure.
