Chances of normal pregnancy after tubal ligation?

FINALLY!! Loved reading your post! No one should freak out over being pregnant. I've had six kids...and STILL would love to have another. I know there are extenuating circumstances ie; health, medical conditions, financial and such, but, even in those cases...if I were to die in this flesh body while providing God given life, I would be completely fine with that! I'm just going back to see my Father who created me and leaving a small piece of his work behind.



I am 41 and had my tubal ligation after my son was born in 2008. Lately, especially this morning and all this past weekend, I've had symptoms. Over the last month...I've done a lot of working out with a trainer..so my period, just this month, has been VERY LIGHT, and all over the place. I've had basic spotting all month long. Now, over the weekend, I had two VERY painful headaches..we were travelling and I just thought maybe it was the heat. THEN, this morning, I was just sitting balancing my check book and all of a sudden I just knew I was going to throw up. My mouth got that weird saliva thing going on...I went into the bathroom and kept spitting in the toilet... I never did actually throw up...but I never did with any of my kids. I never had morning sickness... I have felt a little nauseous with them, but never throw up. I'm not discounting being pregnant. I do feel a bit silly walking in Walgreens or CVS to get a pregnancy test at 41, but...lol...I think I may have to do it. Seems so weird to me after all these years and babies. I know that our Heavenly Father can untie any knot man has tied.... so I have no doubt that if it is in His will...we will have a child. On another note...I am divorced from the man who gave me my first, and divorcing the man who gave me my last five and I am currently with a long time friend of 8 years whom has 3 grown kids of his own..but both of us would LOVE and have been praying if it is in His will, to have a child together. I hope this is the one.... :)

dont be freaked out. theres a reason for this baby to be born , god has blessed you with this wondeful blessing. once the baby is born you will think to your self what the hell was i freaked out about enjoy this blessing!

my baby is 7 years i got my tube tied after i had but now she going to 8 and a few days but i been have pregnant side and my husband he have to i have been have pain on myn side cant hold nothing down what is that

Hi Ladies I know this post is pretty old but hey its all good so I had my tubal almost 13 months ago cut and burned. Ever since my last period started i have experienced nasuea tired all the time head aches and I am a tummy sleeper and can no longer sleep on my tummy my breasts feel swollen and my abdomen just feels funny I am terrified I think it would be a blessing but i already have 3 children and all my pregnancies are difficult. Not sure what to do kind of cinfused any advice?

I am 40 years old, I had my tubes tied suppose to have been cut tied and burned, but he said he just tied them. I am 50 days late of my period. I checked my breast for any discharge its not milky like but its kind of dark but its not blood... I really dont know what I should do. Do yall know If I am possibly pregnant or not?

The easiest way to find out is to get your medical records. I had a tubal ligation 8 years ago and didn't know how they did it, until I got my medical records and I found out that they cut and burnt them.

It's been 5 mos after my tubal ligation and my OB mentioned she dbl clamped my tubes!  I thought that made me feel confident that I wouldnt get pregnant.  But after reading these other posts, I'm thinking twice!  I had my first period since, last month, but havent had one yet this month and I'm eating like crazy!  Muchin and cravin chocolate and junk food!  I dont know how I feel if I am pregnant again!  But you're right, it's God's choice and he'll help me through it, whichever way it turns out to be! 

Anxiously Wondering

I'm 42 years and I had my tubal 17 years ago. I had my hormone level checked 3 years ago to find out when I'd be starting menopause and he gave me an E.T.A. of 8-10 years. My monthly cycle is ALWAYS regular and now I'm a week late. How accurate is a home pregnancy test?

If it is God's will than it will be done.  :)  I am 36 and have 3 children, 15, 12 and 5.  I had my tubes cut, tied, and burnt with my youngest during my c-section.  Normal and reguler cycels.  Since then, I have not been worried about being pregnant until this past August.  I had the dizziness, nausea, tired, blah feeling, and a much lighter than normal period and weight gain.  I took a test and it was negative.  However, come September, I had started bleeding very heavy suddenly and almost 2 weeks earlier than normal.  I do recall passing a rather large clot and bled for a couple weeks after.  I also noticed the symptoms had ended several days before the heavy bleeding.  I would love to have another baby, and faithfully believe that if God wants us to have another we will, but I am just wondering if anyone has had a normal pregnancy after a tubal and a miscarriage. 

i believe you bc i had my done in 1993 after my son was born 5 yrs later i had miscarriage and my boyfriends thinks im pregnant now..

i had my tubal ligation 7 years ago. i have missed my period for almost 2 months and my stomach is hard and bigger. i haven't had morning sickness but am craving things. is there a chance i could be pregnant?

nicole is my name, i had a tubal just over 2 years ago and i took a few home tests all five say positive, but what are my chances? my boyfriend really want another baby hoping tht we will be pregnant, i have a 5 yr 3 yr and 2 yr kids he has a 14 month old and we want one together how positive can this be?
