Hi, don't want to scare you but go to the Dr and get them to check you have no fluid around your heart?.... My husband had the same systoms (which he ignored for a couple of week), only that our savvy GP picked up on the fluid around his heart. Cardiologist said he had had and infection around his heart (related to the infected tooth), but he had managed to fight off the infection and only the fluid remained. Simple treatment of a course of anit-inflammatories fixed him up.

I have this pain really bad in my collarbone and my neck for like the last 6 months...some days a little less, but sure hurts! You might want to get checked for autoimmune diseases...I just found out i have mild lupus, but also have had hypothyroid stuff for a while...get the test called ANA done and CRP...start there.

No,I don, think the two are connected in any way.But if have any doubts then why don't you go back to your dentist and ask him/ her about it and if the answer is in negative, then I suggest that you should visit a chiropractor. He will be able to advice you better on the treatment of the collarbone and shoulder pain.

Everyone of the comments made on this page I pretty much have. From an enlarge vain on my left hand that swells and very painful. Lumps under my skin on left arm, lump on my left collar bone , very painful, the pain runs from there to my chest to my left shoulder. It feels as though I'm having a heartattak  I do have TMJ grind my teeth very badly. Had my upper wisdom teeth removed before Christmas along with a crown that was never capped. My neck and throat stay sore. Most of the time I'm in severe pain with all of this. I do have an internest I see monthly, an orthopedist and I have an appointment next week with an rheumatoid arthritis doctor.

All of these problems plus other health issues I didn't mention have caused me to fall in a depression. So I eat and can't seem to get a grip.

Can anyone help me figure this out.

I completely agree. I was told that I am clenching cause I have sore jaw, hurting neck and shoulder muscles and headaches due to the clenching. And they also told me I have impacted wisdom teeth which I didn't know of fil a couple of weeks ago. Had gum therapy in November and ever since had problems. Wisdom teeth come out in 4 days... Hope it solves my problems.

Are you saying that your teeth can cause shoulder and neck problems because my husband is thinking about pulling all his teeth because he don't have but 7 left and has had shoulder replacement surgery and nothing seems to help but one of his friends that he was talking to today said that he had the same problem and it was a nerve from his teeth.

I've had pain in my elbow, wrist and shoulder for over a month. Just came back from the dentist today too have a root canal and broken tooth fixed. to my surprise my arm feels normal again with full mobility. who would have thought my arm pain was associated with my teeth.

This is old but I have a similar issue. was having chronic shoulder pain to the point it was affecting my job. Popped pain killers for months. The dentist noticed damage to my teeth and wanted to get me into a mouth guard due to clenching my teeth. I also have 3 wisdom teeth that need to be removed before he wanted to make me the mouth guard. I didn't want to do that so became more conscious of clenching and after a period of time- no shoulder pain! Having a very stressful week and have been clenching often and surprise surprise. Shoulder pain is back.

I had severe pain in my left shoulder. My doctor could not find the cause of the pain. They that it might be due ro over-exertion as I'm a small woman with big kids that like to be carried. I just had to have an extraction today of an infected root canal. The pain is completely gone. I understand that it could have been referred pain from the tooth.

Two years ago I started getting pain in upper left jaw, and deep deltoid muscle pain. Checked by dentist, said upper left molar was dead, requires removal, along with one lower right molar. Then I got a "fatty tumor" on my right clavicle adding to the deltoid/shoulder pain. I endured it for two years taking Ibuprofen. Went to physical therapist weekly for two months -- and no appreciable results. Pain increased causing most pain early in the morning. Went for MRI and xray at SPortsMEdicine clinic at JohnsHop -- Awaiting results and diagnosis. Meanwhile got upper left molar removed-- and shoulder pain has abated significantly. Coincidentally, when I drank energy drink with lots of B vitamins (Walmart's Energy powdered drink) the back/sholder pain was more manageable. So intriguing that the doctor I had been going to also said there was no connection between the teeth problem and the shoulder.pain. My shoulder pain mimics subdeltoid lipoma symptoms.

It's been several years, but I'll put my story out in case it helps someone. I had pain in my joints and trapezius muscle (shoulder). I also had moments, typically around 5p that were foggy then passed. After reading a post describing the same symptoms - minus the fog - suggesting lymes, I talked my Dr into a test. He was amazed to find thevtests confirmed chronic lymes disease. A month of strong antibiotics returned me to normal.

I've been getting loads of swelling and pain from wisdom teeth and I've been suffering with lots of pain in upper arm and darts of pain shooting down into hand , when I massage or pink the side of my neck it's definitely takes the pain away from arm so I'm convinced it's all from wisdom tooth that's obv pressing on a nerve or something in neck that's going down my arm

Right now I am having the exact same problem. I live in Canada and don't have a family doctor so I have to use emergency rooms and the wait times can sometimes be up to 10 hours. I am having a wisdom tooth problem . but I have had an injury to my left collarbone and arm and shoulder

I️ suffered 5 years thoracic outlet syndrome. Killing me so bad my bra strap hurt me, wearing a purse hurt me, driving, washing dishes, straightening my hair- everything!!! I️ got my wisdom teeth removed yesterday and my pain is freaking gone. Wtf. I️ mean they should have come out 10 years ago but I️ was too chicken sh*t. It robbed me of 5 years. I️ have a slipping 1st rib. Have to get it reset 2/3 times a week. I️ can text and sit up this morning, feeling great. I️ have had terrible chronic pain for 5 years no breaks. Orthopedic’s hospitals and drs said it was arthritis in my neck. I️ hope this was the problem. I️ always say though, get a genetic test if you are in pain- I’m very hyper mobile and am in the process of excluding connective tissue disorders- it’s not normal to live in pain everyday- nonstop. Period. Something is wrong. If you doc dosnt listen to you drop his ass/ get your tests done and research yourself to live healthy and see a geneticist.
