I'm 21 years old. For the past month I have been experiencing constant nausea and fatigue. My glands in the neck are swollen but non-painful. My doctor thinks that I have glandular fever but I didn't do my blood test yet. Can somebody with experience tell me something more about glandular fever? Thanks!
Hi! If you think you have glandular fever, it can be confirmed by a blood test. This disease is a kind of viral infection and it mainly affects young adults. Unfortunately there is no specific treatment for glandular fever. You need to rest and drink a lot of fluids. You can use paracetamol or ibuprofen to treat fever. Best wishes!

Hallo,
Nausea and fatigue filling can be very disturbing and can prevent you from doing your daily routines in a normal way. The thing that you have enlarged lymph nodes on your neck indicate that there is definitely and infection in your body and it is located somewhere in your throat. Do you feel any irritation in your throat? Have you been using any medication in past period? Glandular fever is also a possibility but this has to be diagnosed by a doctor. So the blood test is not a bad option right now. You need to treat this to avoid any further complication in your lymphatic system. As soon as fever is gone your lymph nodes will go back to normal.
