Hi, mine has been going for very many months. my doctor does not check properly. When I told her cysts or other, she ignored.
She insists urine cultures change also, this is very wrong.
I am going to go to my dr. whom did my hysterectomy.
He will see to me better.

Ok listen , I just came in this site bcs a friend is suffering for 8 months now of a burning outside the vulva in the labia. She had ALL TYPES OF BLOOD ,, PAPS AND BIOPSY and nothing shows up. I've been thinking maybe it has to do with the urine, and to my surprise here were sugestions of kidneys and urinary track infections. My friend had injections of cortizone in the area when is bad. So I know cranberry is very good for urinary infections. They sell cranberry extract at the organic health food stores, its very sour and pure, you mix it with water. No sugar added. It helps clean the system. I'm going to sugest that to my friend and I will post if it helped.

I think you're on the right track, RanchLady, as I think this is about aging, low estrogen, and dry vagina. I started getting UTIs last November, then yeast infections due to the antibiotics. Still have the symptoms of light burning in vagina (and near anus) even tho all tests (including blood) camee back negative. My mother had cancer so my doc won't prescribe estrogen but I'm pretty sure I can get it in a topical cream. Will let you know. Best wishes to all from Lyricom.

The same thing happened to me days after I left a GYN appointment. I'm 35 and I know this is not yeast infection, BV, herpes, nor HPV. The GYN wiped something on my anus then partially stuck something on the outer portion of my vagina. Then stated he could not do my PAP! I morerhan sure it's where I contracted it from. Symptoms: Constant burning, feels like needs or pins, and sometimes itches. The doctors will treat you with metro, diflucan, and diagnose you with UTI! It's possiably a medical scam or research action like the Government experiments. If I am wrong, I will pull my post. But mine is traced back to a GYN appointment. Excuse the typo.

Hi there, I am sorry to hear this. Do you remember the specific places you were touched?
I started having symptoms several days later after my GYN appointment. Never had these symptoms before constant.

Have you tried Replens.

If that helps, let us know. I seriously doubt it will help. A warm bath with peroxide is only temporary

Yep, from my experience, friends and other female family members these symptoms are real and usually come upon us at perimenopausal stage. Our Vaginal burning was not associated with infections or any other causes and unbearable. Took a long time to work out what it was. It's hormone related and to do with estrogen. Your blood estrogen levels do not even need to be low for this to happen. Our bodies are complicated, our physiology is different from one person to another which explains why everyone doesn't suffer the problem. The answer for me was estrogen replacement therapy delivered vaginally. Solved the problem and everyone else I knew who suffered from it. I don't know why it is never mentioned in the symptoms section of peri-menopause or menopause but it's real and it's distressing. Most GP's know nothing about this symptom and when they don't know how to treat something and tests are negative they treat you like you are a hypochondriac. I am 5 years post menopause and feel secure using low does estrogen pessaries however, anyone concerned about using estrogen DHEAS acts the same as estrogen in the vagina and does not enter the blood system. Available in America and other parts of the world on prescription in pessary form. Unfortunately we don't have the pessary available here but your doctor can write a prescription for DHEAS which you take to a compounding chemist who will make up into a cream for you to use. Do your own research and talk to your doctor about it.
