I havehad the urge to urinate fir a few yrs now. I do know myself what that is. Before my Dr died he told me I was most definitely going to need a bladder tack and hysterectomy as everything was falling out. Well? Itearing loose. I haven't had the surgery yet but have insurance again due to some health problems and my not being able to workhe died and I lost my insurance because I had so many problems standing because it literally felt like everything was tearing away. I haven't had the surgery and can tell how much it all has falling. Thank goodness my husband is an understanding man.I was 17 with my 1st child. 20 With the next and 2 miscarriges and the 22 with my youngest. I am now 38, I was good in like. 1997 These parts would fall out. or at least patrude very badly. Anyway. Just yesterday, of course after I left the Dr I started having that pressure. It makes me think if the way it felt when I was in labor. You feel the pressure and then it's ti
me to push. So now you guys know a little bit of how we felt except multiply that by 20. I did just finish azithrimicin. (Z-pack) for my ears and sinuses. Anyway, I do have insurance back but I'd really love to hear what this may be. I am so afraid I waited so long that now my parts are possibly try to fall out my rectum as well. I am not constipated or gassy. I had an emergency surgery in Oct. I was in there what was supposed go be over night for hydration and to raise my potassium but I stayed over a week. Actually my complaint was My bp was sky high even on meds and my oxygen level was in the 80s, my cholesterol was sky high and my heart rate, 167. I was on the verge if a heart attack. Well, after blood work, meds, etc I still wasn't able to keep my potassium up. it was a 2 and they at the least want a 4. They started pumping it hard and fast through the iv. and it kept blowing my viens. Plus my veins were not great the whole Time. I stayed dehydrated. But to stop boring you guys, they scanned my gallbladder. It was not working and it was badly enlarged. There was s stone or something blocking my upper bile duct. The removed the gallbladder and they said they needed to keep an eye in the other thing. It had moved or something. It's ii. of fuzzy. my family has tons of cancer and when I looked up pressure it seals what my grandfather had. Colon cancer, polyps, and a variety of things. I haven't had an exam in 13 yrs. When I was in the goal my white blood veins were severely low. Not fighting infection. Anyway, I don't know if you guys found an answer that pleased you but I am carrying my behind to the Dr. I love this board and am happy to have found it. I hope everyone is great. I just wanted to tell you all, please!! If you are doing something and you're nor happy with what the Dr said seek a 2nd opinion. There's no reason we all should sit around with pressure like that. I am afraid but I am going. My uncle has had 2 cancers that are very, very rare. My own mom won't go. she says the less she knows the better. So I hope this isn't too long and you all won't give me a hard Time. I just know what I am going to do. oh! & If there r many typos or crazy sounding worse this green thing follows you on the mobile site and I can go back. it won't let me scroll and my stupid phone has made up words where I misspelled words. lol!! I hope to find that you are well!! Good day!

I have the feeling just about all of the time that I have to pee. When I start to go it feels okay and then it will feel like I am being blocked from peeing and the flow of urine slows down until I am done. Seems like I can't pee with the same pressure I always have before. My pee dribbles out. Then I also have the feeling of having to always poop. When I go it is never the size it used to be. Sometimes it is 3-4 inch pieces and a few of them. I got really sick about two weeks ago and had to go to the hospital for vomiting so violently. I actually started vomiting blood after vomiting for hours. so ever since then (16 days ago) I have had these feelings of always having to poop and pee. Can anyone comment on this at all ?? By the way, I am 55 yrs old and go to the gym 4-5 times weekly and have all of my life. I was wondering if my prostate had anything to do with this ??

I hope you are better by now but if you are not you may want to talk to your doctor about ruling out kidney stones. If you have already done that talk to them about interstitial cystitis. Check out

I am wondering if preservatives/additives in food could be an added cause. Also the use of antibiotics in younger years. I have been visiting china and notice an instant dioretic effect when eating foods which I suspect of having MSG added. It feels like they cause the bladder and bowel to go into spasm. I have read a little on synthetic additives which implies that as we have not evolved on these compounds, perhaps our digestive tracts can't handle them. I am tempted to try a 'pure' diet of only steamed/boiled veg and other foods which have not been 'tampered' with. Hard to do if you travel!

Sounds like interstitial cystitis . That's what I was diagnosed with 2 years ago. I can control it pretty well with lifestyle changes like mostly diet and decreasing stress. Look it up. Staying away from acidic food unfortunate including anything citrus, caffeine, carbonation and alcohol... Try and exclusion diet. just slowly introduce things back into your system to find out what triggers and what doesn't. I still east and drink a little of everything but only in moderation now. Hope that helps. Can't say I can help anyone with the rectal pressure prob tho. This is only for the constant UTI feeling

I had a constant need to urinate for a time without the pressure. After several urologists, one recommended a regimine of ibuprofen (I took 2 per day at each meal for 2 weeks, 2 per day at breakfast and dinner for two weeks, and 1 per day at break fast and dinner for two more weeks). This made my symptoms disappear over the matter of a few weeks. Apparently some of us younger guys can have some form of inflammation that goes away with an inflammation regimine. A year following that, I developed hemorrhoids and some of my symptoms came back, so I just start taking ibuprofens again. There definitely seems to be a link in my case between the hemorrhoids and urinary issues, with both seeming to relate to a general inflammatory process. The ibuprofen made the world of a difference to me. The ibuprofen probably would not be recommended today thought because of the risk of NSAIDs to your heart, but for me I would never have changed what I did because it interfered with my life so much. I would take the ibuprofen again if I were to develop symptoms all over again. For me this also got worse when I started working a desk job in my early 20s.
