I had mine done on the 18th I didn’t bleed at all at first but I got an infection after starting antibiotics I’ve been bleeding since the 11 of November through still now 13 days with no sign of stopping. I was given a med to stop the bleeding it’s not helping. I’d have periods for 10 days heavy all the way through. I’ve been to the hospital back to the gynaecologist and I keep being told I’m fine but I’m not I’m in extreme pain and bleeding so much how can that be fine?! The point of this was to stop the bleeding not make it worse. I had originally asked for a hysterectomy but I was told the healing time would take too long and it’s more invasive HA! I call bs because I have 2 gfs that have had hysterectomies and are doing better at this point then I am

I had mine done in Feb 2017 and still today 11/30/2017 still bleeding. Have been bleeding dark brown almost black blood for 7 weeks straight. Now I am having severe abdominal pain and pain in my back. Went to ER they said I had a severe bladder infection caused from the surgery. I am 1 day away from finishing antibiotics and the pain is getting worse. I am glad to see others are having the same issue and that I am not alone

It’s been 4 weeks to the day since I’ve had my endometrial ablation surgery.... the first 3 weeks was the watery/bloody discharge which seems to be normal .... but now it’s back to full on bleeding .... how much longer will this last? How did some women only have a couple days of bleeding but I’m still bleeding with no sign of stopping after 4 weeks. When Dani start to use a tampon instead of a pad? When can I go back to having sex?

I’m 42 years old and I decided to have the ablation to stop or slow down my heavy and irregular periods. I had it don on 11/30/17 and I have yet to stop bleeding today is 1/7/18. I just want it to stop. Not to mention that At the time of my ablation I had already been on my cycle sine early October. Starting to regret this.

I just had my procedure done on Jan 4th 2018 and prior to that, I have been bleeding since Dec 3rd 2017. Today, I have had blood clots and horrible cramps. What were the results for you? How long before you stop bleeding?

After 5 weeks, I finally stopped bleeding. Never bled A LOT, but it was like day 4 or 5 of a period. Enough for a panty liner. Now, I am completely pain free, no bleeding and completely satisfied!

Hi I had my abalation 4 weeks ago. During which I have had my period which was lighter but the pain experienced over 3 days was unbelievable. I was still lightly bleeding watery liquid until last night when I had a aching back and pelvis. Went to the loo and saw fresh blood. Changed my pad putting 2 on. Ten minutes later after nearly fainting and feeling like a tap had been left on down below went back to the loo and was absolutely covered in blood and 2 massive clots in the pad. Rang our emergency no. Who after talking to me sent an ambulance. After checks and contacting the hospital they were told by the doctor that this happens at the end of the healing process. Ummmm hang on then...I was only told to look out for smelly discharge and a fever not nearly hemmoraging and passing clots. So still bleeding but hopefully it will stop soon. Not sure what the next period will be like fingers crossed not too painful.

Hi I had mine 4 weeks ago. My post is just below yours. Thought I was hemmoraging last night clots and unbelievable amount of blood, apparently all part of the healing process. Still bleeding but hopefully will be over soon.

Did it ever stop? I’m at week 7 and I’m getting so frustrated. I’m hoping to hear that it stops eventually!

I’m in the same boat now. It’s been 6 1/2 weeks of continual bleeding/ spotting after my ablation. Did yours stop eventually?
