Where is the coronal section of the brain? I read some report that my husbands doctor wrote and he is asking for head scan… coronal area...or something. Where is that? Please, is there anyone that can tell me this? I am in total fog and I am worried about him. Thank you.
There are three types of sections of the brain coronal, horizontal, and sagittal. Coronal section is the easiest one to visualize, because its orientation is just like looking face-on at another person, up is up and down is down. And if you look in a coronal series the very first section you would see would be just the tips of the frontal lobes, which sit right behind the forehead.
