I recently had the implant put into my arm since then I have missed last months then a period by two weeks this month I had just started 2 days ago and already it has stopped? Usually I am on a heavy 7 day cycle.. the first time I missed a period u took a few tests and all came back negitive. Since then I have been feeling a weird flutter/ twitch in my lower left side of my abdomen? Also always feeling hungry and slight weight gain? Could this be because of my implant or couldn't I still be pregnant?

I had an implant inserted in 2011 and had it removed this year recently in April 20th. Had it in for 13 or 14 months. And the whole time i was on the Implanon...When i had implant for 13 months i ony had a period 2 times in the first 2 months i had it and they only lasted 2 or 3 days and than its gone. after that...never seen a period since. I had it removed due to TTC. And now im realli having a very difficulty time conciving. After removal i have never gotten any period but alot of pain...I would only suggest implanon for tho pple whos planning on staying unpregnant for a long time. I woudnt suggest it for short time use. It realli can mess up ur fertility and ovulation...some pple take 3 months to get pregnant and some took 1 year to get pregnant and like my aunti...its been 5 years since she had it taken out and still couldnt get pregnant til this day...and there are chances that a women can never be pregnant after implanon...best to do as much research about this thing b4 using....every women works differently, so i would say do wats u think its best.
