My periods usually come every 5-6 weeks! In the last 6 months I have had two very light periods. But I've had all the symptoms of being pregnant. The feeling of morning sickness, sore breasts, tiredness and headaches, urinating more frequently.

I haven't had a period now for over 10 weeks and counting... that's when I finally took the pregnancy test, but it came up negative. I've gained a lot of weight on my belly in the last 6 months and it's looking very rounded... some of my friends have even joked to me about being pregnant. I'm getting aches and pains in my belly and the feeling of nausea is still quite strong.

Am I just being silly thinking it's possible that I might actually be pregnant? Any advice will be helpful, thank you!

It could be a couple different things. Years ago, I had something like this and it turned out it was all in my head due to me being paranoid I was pregnant (I had been a sophomore in college). If you haven't had a period in over 10 weeks and you typically have regular periods, I would suggest making an appointment with your doctor. Even if it's not pregnancy, they can help you get whatever it is figured out and fixed. The most ridiculous and scant of a hormone change can wreak havoc in your body and cause any number of symptoms.
