I have a dark lump on the left side of my pubic region. I don't know the medical term but it has given me concern.

About a month ago I got a few bumps larger than what I was used to. I know I don't have herpes, my boyfriend of 2 years is very faithful (ie. prints out his schedule, lets me take him to work, lets me read his texts and emails, really makes it so I have no reason not to feel he's faithful). When I say bumps bigger than I'm used to is because I shave and get ingrown hairs and razor burn easily. I do admit to trying to get the hair out when that happens so when I dug at one of them and didn't find a hair, I grew confused.

I went to a close relative and we decided that it's a heat rash since I don't have air conditioning. So I figure I would give it a couple of weeks so it can die down and I did my best to make my room very cool despite electricity bill.

So most all of them have gone away but one black/blue lump remains (I should say they weren't black before). It feels kind of hard and almost vein-like and when I pop it, it doesn't show any sign of breakage other than a good amount of blood with a small amount of pus coming out. Now, I haven't gone to the doctor yet because I'm in the middle of changing insurance companies from my parents (I am 21, almost 22). I don't feel like its a Bartholin's Gland cyst due to the area. I don't feel like it is heat rash due to the cooler conditions of my house and visiting friends with AC during hot points of the day. And I don't feel like it's razor burn because I didn't shave. So I wondered if anyone had ideas or if I should just keep eagerly awaiting the ability to see a doctor.

It sounds to me like small capillary (skin around there is very thin in most women) has gotten into the whole mess inflamed follicle or maybe even a ingrown hair has caused. That's why the bleeding, but you really have to start to treat it like it's inflamed - do not try to pop it for a while, but put warmish (it has to be warm, but not hot) compress on the bump so it would soften up, it can take a few days, but you will also have to apply some antibacterial cream or neosporin on the spot, after the softening so that infection subsides. Maybe you could see a good cosmetician, before you get to the doctor's?

I have 2 bumps under the skin on my pelvic region on the side closer to my leg. Idk what they are. A cyst? Pinched nerve? Something else?
