I have a deloading question I have been doing a big three program and so far it has proven to be excellent. I am also on a diet so I do not gain weight, only muscle mass. Anyway, I have heard that it is good to have a deloading period, every 4 week. Is that true? I mean, what am I supposed to do in that time?
Actually, the answer is very simple. Do whatever you want. The most recommended activity is any activity just as long as it is not one you have been doing for 3 weeks or more. Some people like to engage in soccer, basketball, some still got to the gym, but only to do speed lifting with around 50 of maximum weight, and only twice in a week. Some people do not do anything, they just rest and enjoy in life.
