Hey buddy you are totally fine! First of all you're young and you will bounce back from this in no time! You have to STOP SMOKING though buddy, ENTIRELY. It won't go away unless you stop. Simple as that. Avoid friends who are bad influences or who won't nag you about smoking cause if you've told them you've stopped and they keep asking you to do it thats just not cool and those aren't good friends. Running and getting a runners high is totally normal as well. People get runners high all the time so if you're running too hard slow it down a bit and slow the pace but either way it's a totally natural sensation. Even being happy and having fun at your age will happen a lot. At your age you have a lot of emotion behind your sensations and your happiness may or may not feel very similar to feeling high off of smoke. So if you're happy and feeling good about yourself that's totally normal too. Avoid the junk food and NO MORE CAFFEINE! No pops unless you're drinking sprite or rootbeer cause they are caffeine free. I would avoid sodas in general though cause they are just nasty unless you're having them with a meal. Drink lots of water! Ask your Ma to make some healthy food and try eating those vegetables more! They will boost your vitamin levels and give you some serious strength when doing sports. On another note you gotta talk to someone about how you're feeling, like a friend you can trust or a relative who won't judge you. Write in a journal how you're feeling and just have that journal either way. At any age having a journal really puts things in perspective and makes you a smarter person. It formulates your feelings and emotions into thoughts and then into writing which is a huge way of releasing tension. Keep praying too buddy! You prayed for help and here I' am buddy! I'm here helping you right now letting you know that you are going to be totally O.K.! God helps us all everyday and everyday is a day given by God! So just remember that! Now we all have our bad days and we all fail from time to time. Just remember that it's about baby steps and overcoming your bad feelings and your over thinking. Cause when you're worrying about stuff you wouldn't normally think about thats cause you're over thinking. Go outside take in the fresh air, write in your journal, pray to God, read an uplifting book, keep active and talk with someone! At your age that's not too hard! Just do these things at your own pace though. Just remember when you're not feeling well it will pass, it will go away and you'll be just fine. It might take a little while to get over this but seriously at your age you will be on top of the world and will have learned a lot about yourself. Before you know it you'll be saying wow I'm totally over this and life has it's ups and downs but I know I can overcome them! Thxs I'm glad that there is someone I can talk to about this, and yea I have stop drinking all soda I mostly drink just water. And I all so eat less for some reason I've lost like 17 pounds in these 2 months. That might be from the withdrawal I seen some thing about that it instead of making you eat more it makes you loss your appitte (sry can't spell). So long did it take for you to get better just wondering I want to get better before this summer like May cause me and friend are going to beach. And thxs again

Well how much weight were you before you quit? Cause yea it does make you not want to eat as much but just cause you're not hungry doesn't mean you shouldn't eat a healthy amount of food. Also if it's been 2 months has it been 2 months of totally quitting? Cause you can't be taking little smokes here and there that's not going to help you. How old are you again? And how long were you smoking? For the most part you'll be good pretty soon if you've totally quit. If you have some anxieties still you NEED to use the tools I've told you and you need to talk to someone face to face and write in a journal. It will help totally break the wall down for you. I weighted 192 I'm down to like 175 now so I'm not in a unhelp weight now so its not so bad. And yes I've totally stop smoking ill probly never smoke again. I'm 19 I had the bad attack day after my birthday sucks I know. I probly smoked for 4-5 every day but I didnt smoke that much every day maybe like one joint a day or bowl. And yea I get anxiety sometimes but im getting better. I'm also take True Calm and L-theanine there like all natural vitamin type stuff that helps anxiety and to calm you down I don't know if you've tried them I got them from GNC. And I talk to my step bro I've know him for like 8 years and he's been with me when I've had bad weed panic attack so he knows how it is.

thanks man it really means alot and at school like i doze off and i get trapped in my own mind and everything is like a dream and everything gets all blurry and i like pass out and i run outa breath so fast its unbelievable i could just run for 1 second and it would feel like i jsut ran a mile like i want my old life back ima lay off the soda and junk food and i have gotten better on my panic attacked and stuff the only thing that gets me when it feels like im high and c**p i start laughing my ass off then itslike i switch into a diffrent world like i do when im getting high it jsust scares me i drink water and take a shower that always helps then i go and laydown for a few hours and i do basketball and track and wrestling next year i cant wrestle if i still have it tho bczu i get knocked out to easiley now bcuz of it well thanks man ttyl

Thats awesome bro - coming down to that weight isn't bad bro. Yea if you totally stop smoking man you're going to be good soon I mean it probably took me around 2-3 months to get on a nice even keel again. I had smoked a lot too for years so you're quitting at an early time in your life and you will benefit greatly from all the learning experiences you've gone through. I don't know about those medicines you're taking but if there is one thing I do know about any kind of anxiety medication it is not to rely on it. So try and cut yourself down off of that as well cause in all honestly you are the one gaining power over your anxiety not the medicine. Take your time and you know how your mind and body is doing. The fact of the matter is that yea the dreamstate is odd and it can come and go but sooner or later it won't feel like a dreamstate because you will get used to not being high. So in essence you're trying to switch back to being healthy and natural which is totally normal after quitting. We all go through stuff like that in our life and smoking gives you a very mellow state of mind but now that you're off of smoking you're able to get back in touch with your feelings and emotions more (as weird as that sounds I know). So it's all good man just keep at it thats the main thing. Keep talking with your step bro and stay active. Exercise is a huge way to help you calm your body and mind...just make sure you try to exercise mid day or after you wake up cause working out before bed time will actually keep you up at night. Use this to take advantage of better time spent and do a project and really take in what I wrote to you earlier cause it truly helps. Nice catching up with you bro and let me know how your progress is going! It'll be all good before you know it and you will be stronger than before.

Nice bro sounds like you're working at it - really take into account what I wrote you and try those steps. When did you quit smoking and how much were you smoking? Did you smoke with your friends usually? You're 13 right and how much do you weigh? The main thing is that you stay off of the stuff and don't go back to it. I did it for years and sure it was fun and I enjoyed it from time to time but it really stole a ton of time away from me and not to mention the money side of it. Time is priceless though and we all have problems in life but thankfully I managed to still be a good son and grandson to my family. The fact remains though I wasted apart of my life on it and that I regret. I'm here now totally sober and happy to help people like yourself and that's my role now in this world of smoke use. So please take it from me stop now and prosper so you can be a stronger man. I mean about the wrestling just see how you feel down the road before you make your decision on that one. Talk to someone and write in your journal too. Basketball is awesome and so is track - I played basketball a ton growing up great sport, along with biking. Biking is very soothing and therapeutic too. Keep at it buddy you'll feel better soon!

i weigh like 145? like today i had a really bad anxiety attack everything got blurry and it felt like sum1 punched me in the stomache and knocked the wind out me. I rose my hand in class and tried getting his attention faster by snappign adn i get yelled at. So i say i cant breathe then i run out of the classroom and get a drink and open a window and get some fresh air it really helped i kinda challenged it to. hten i came back in class sat down and everyhting was fine. he said if i ever have one again just raise my hand and say i cant breathe and go outside into the hall and get some good air. and also  i dont take meds for it im fighting it on my own. and i cant excersice muchc bcuz ill run outa breathe wayyy to fast and ill pass out. i cant do anything simple like chraging into sum1 without me getting knocked out. i think its all in my head bcuz i mean itn still feels like im high my eyesight is the same as wehn im high im dizzy i laugh at the stupidest things and i say teh stupidest stuff. like i dont even know whats going on. reply back please?

It is all mostly in your head bro it'll be all good . How long has it been since you last smoked? You should NOT be smoking bud at all though you just shouldnt be at this point so let me know if you are still ok?
You have to realize that when you're feeling good and feeling ok that you need to practice relaxing and taking deep breaths and if you practice when you feel good it will strengthen your response when you're not feeling good. Are you talking to someone about this? How active are you normally when you work out or play sports? How old are you again too? Get back to me when you can buddy I'll help you out so no need to worry.

I'm 13 and ik i shuldn't be smoking yet and its been like 3 weeks and my anxiety hasnt gotten better i learned how to control it just not take care of it if u kno what i mean? like forreal i try and challenge it it beats me at that game idk how i try but it just like over powers me and c**p. I get scared really easy and c**p and i get knocked out easy to and im not talking to any1 about it. bcuz if i ttry talking to a therapist or sumthing he willte ll my mom and dad and ill go t rehab. which i dont wana go there. i havent had very many problems sleeping. the dreams are what scare me i have goood and bad dreams. well ill write in a journal and stuff and no2 can see it

Yea bro it's all good...just try not over thinking it. Don't try and fight it like it's a battle though, cause you are the one fighting with yourself. Does that make sense? Cause you are actually just fine. If you work yourself up like its a battle you will do just that - work yourself up. What you need to realize is that you are fine, it will be over you're just feeling a little uneasy but it happens to everyone and it will go away. From that point just think about something that will soothe your mind. Like walking in a field, write down something that you want to accomplish like I hope I feel better soon cause I'm getting annoyed feeling this way. Just let your emotions out on paper or talk to someone about it. The fact is you need to use the tools I'm giving you to gain headway on this. Use the tools and steps to chip away your nervous feelings. You should not be thinking about smoking again either cause you should NOT be smoking at all let alone at your age man. I mean when you get into college or your on your own that's your decision but I still DO NOT recommend smoking bro. Be a stronger man and learn that it's something you don't need. The dreams can be weird but they can be cool too so just relax on those. What you need to do is learn to relax more now buddy. Just like I said before when you're in a good spot and feeling good try and practice being relaxed WHILE you're relaxed that way when you're not feeling too hot you can relax cause you have practiced it. Write in that journal especially cause it will help you scrape away the tension. If you're in class and not feeling good remember that you'll be fine bro. It's nothing to get worried about seriously. Any situation you feel unsure of just remind yourself you'll be good. Go over my other notes to you and strengthen yourself through those tools. That is how you will take care of it aright? Just get back to me after you try the tools cause they will help.

Hey can you tell me what happend to you I'm just wondering if me and you had the same thing. With me I was smoking and had a bad trip and had bad anxiety after it and I couldn't get any sleep. And I had anxiety attacks randomly and I find my self thinking about it a lot. So I'm just wondering what happend to you so if me and you went throw the samething.

Yea I've had that happen to me when I stopped...I used all the tools I've been posting. It seriously is through hard work and determination by using those tools I'm not just posting as someone who has no idea what it's like to go through this stuff. What did you trip on specifically that made you feel anxious? All that you need to know is that everyone experiences anxiety so it honestly doesn't matter if you had anxiety after using that stuff. What does matter is if it's like right after you smoked or tripped. Cause if you took a hit or went on a trip and an hour or two later you had a bad trip well those are the negative effects of using that stuff. It goes away though and the remaining feelings are what you are dealing with in your life but you're associating a mixture of responses so it kind of leaves you feeling uneasy. Fill me in on the specifics though and I'll let you know more.
